My guess if you need to fix your metabolism by balancing your blood Sugar for all meals and snacks.

It can take weeks or months to see improvement.

I have been trying the 801010 diet for a few months now. Honestly not sure if it will solve your problems but maybe you could try it idk.

I have the same problem as you and it's painful and brutal, to say the least. I'm new to treating my adrenal fatigue, and I've found it can be overwhelming and frustrating to find relief. Your state of mind is the most important part of healing, so find rest there (meditation, yoga, get into nature, counselling, ...). Magnesium supplements have been a turning point for me; I used to have horrid dreams/nightmares that woke me up but those are gone. I still wake, but am much more calm. Waking may be a sign of a backed-up liver so maybe try gentle supports for your liver through diet (avocados, garlic, beets); don't do anything harsh like a cleanse as your body may not be able to get rid of the toxins you loosen up! Gentle and steady is the way to go. Try to focus on any improvements you see, no matter how small (like for me and how the nightmares are at least gone). Find out if you have any food sensitivities so as to remove that kind of stress from your body. I highly recommend the paleo diet! Find an adrenal support that works for you, my naturopath said that was a big factor to healing as well. I feel your pain! One thing I'm learning is to go with the flow of healing, no matter how slow it is.
