A few years back one of my lower left molars got infected (very painful) and I had a root canal done on that tooth. About two years ago I chipped/broke the tooth by chewing on something hard, and have had recurrent infections ever since. They've never been painful because of the root canal I guess.
Anyway, long story short, for the past 18 months I've had extensive health problems, parasites, candida, and in particular a really really bad sinus/ear infection which is predominantly on the left side (sure it's candida, but bacteria may be involved too)
I had the tooth removed a couple of months ago by my new dentists but a few days after two lumps with white tips formed on the extraction site, looking like they were draining something. I phoned him and didn't seem too concerned. I made sure I was regularly rinsing with salt water/oregano oil etc and it went away.
About a month ago I noticed that on the inside of my bottom jaw bone (near the extraction site) is a big lump. It's not painful, maybe slightly tender, it's hard but moves around slightly when I push on it. I'm thinking the infection never really went away. One of my glands is still up on the left side too, and has been since this all started.
So, the extraction site has now closed over. I was just wondering what you guys think of this, and whether there is anything I can do (since the site has closed over) to get rid of this infection without dental surgery? I'm due to go away on holiday for 5 weeks in a months times so it's going to be over two months before I can do anything about this if I need a hospital referral, which takes time in the UK.

This is a reply to # 2,077,005You need to pump in the vitamin c and olive leaf extract, can you pull the lump and get your fingers under it or does it feel like it is attached to the bone. Can you feel it inside your mouth on the bottom of your gum.? Sorry lots of questions, peroxide is good for killing bacteria in mouth. Where you given a course of Antibiotics when the root canal was done? Need a good immune booster to help your body fight what's going on. Sounds like you have an underlying ailment that could be the catalyst for your health problems, have you ever looked into Lymes disease???

No I can't really get hold of it, it's in a bit of a difficult position, but from poking it it seems like it might be attached to the bone, not sure. I don't think I can feel it inside my mouth, so perhaps it's not attached to the bone?? I can't remember if I had Antibiotics when I had the root canal done to be honest, but have had several rounds since after having a swab of my mouth come back positive for Candida and Strep B. I had a round of penicillin about a month before the swab and it obviously didn't get rid of the Strep infection.
I took a massive amount of a vitamin C for a couple of weeks recently (managed to reach 50g a day without hitting bowl tolerance) but stopped because I was concerned it was making the parasites worse.
To be honest I know I've had Candida mildly for 10 years, and also a pin worm infection. I had the Mirena IUD fitted nearly 2 years ago and that's when it all spiralled, but have now had it removed. Just looking for whatever is still not allowing my immune system to function at full strength. Also have a very stressful job which I don't think helps.

This is a reply to # 2,077,023Lots of raw garlic for 2.5 mos got rid of an abcess I had had for years, and also litterally pushed old root canal leftovers out of a back molar that I had lost the cap on and didn't have the money to fix.......my mouth healed. I was taking the garlic for parasites, realized the benefit to old mouth issues later.

This is a reply to # 2,077,005I have the exact same thing a little cyst type under my jaw bone that sedms to be growing iv been seriously ill and loads off Antibiotics that have ruiened my bowel completely my health isnt getting better I swear its going to be the end of my iv got candida that just wont go drs just arnt listening

This is a reply to # 2,077,005Google Jaw Cavitations or NICO. There is a Cav site on Curezone. It is the one avenue I haven't explored for all my health problems. I had dental cavitation surgery twice and still there is an infection in one area.

This is a reply to # 2,077,118Hayley I am trying oil pulling at the moment, and might also give high dose liposomal vitamin c a try. I know it's horrible when the docs won't listen. I burst into tears in front of the last doctor I saw. But there is always hope. It's just getting to the bottom of the issue and there are doctors/dentists out there who can help, just a matter of finding the right one I think. This is a reply to # 2,077,118Sounds like you need a good Dr! Believe in yourself, some,drs don't care if it is something out of their knowledge, . You need to get on your own mission to heal yourself, look for the answers, join the dots. Eat clean,detox, put everything your body needs back vitamin,herb, mineral. Learn to meditate. This will all pass just don't throw in the towel. I have had 16yrs of misdiagnosis. I never gave up looking. Know I have been diagnosed with lymes, and I have morgellons, plus an annoying little critters that have been using my face ears, nose, mouth as a party zone. Not to mention other parts of the body. Some days I can take upto 6000mg of vitamin c. Still never hit bowel tolerance. Believe in yourself. Keep trying alternatives. The key is to give something you try a good go. This is a reply to # 2,077,170I decided to really turn up the heat and get rid of this hidden jaw infection, before it gets rid of me.
I saw so many doctor ... I could have a doctors parade!I'm so tired of doctors telling me there is no infection, when everything points to an infection.
My Symptoms:
Heat intolerance, flu like feeling, swollen lymph node, a super big lump on my jaw (inch wide) and swollen temple, blurred vision, brain fog, stiff neck and rash on my neck this is all on the same side of body. Amazed a doctor cannot connect the dots. Dr. House would of nailed this !
This nightmare has been going on for over 3
years.I had cavitation surgery twice! Sinus surgery twice. two MRI , and the ENT ordered high resolution CAT scan. Sinus surgery for better drainage
Here is what I do: oil pulled about two hours a day coconut oil and oregano and golden seal. Yes, it is two hours a day to make a dent in this infection.
I also used infrared light on the area at night
to help kill the infection. I would do castor oil packs, and heating pad daily for two to three hours at night
I drank, Vitamin C ascorbic acid, mixed with the liquid kyolc garlic and couple drops of oregano oil, berbine liquid , golden seal. daily. Also ate a lot of raw garlic.
I put Dmso on the lump with a drop or two wild oregano oil. I would alternate between Iodine with Dmso and other times garlic with DMSO.silver with DMSO. I figure if it is a closed infection than DMSO will carry the iodine into the site and kill it and give me fighting chance.
First thing, in the morning I take one teaspoon each of baking soda and salt in glass of water this is supposed to help clear the lymph node
No sugar, carbs basically the SCD diet . And I loaded up on the raw garlic. And skipped anything that is fungus, or has possible mycotoxins.
Took a mineral concentrate and increases magnesium level by getting a drink called Calm
this stuff keeps everything moving and is so good for you.
Jump on mini trampoline for few minutes to get the blood moving and the lymph moving
I did the sauna to detox fast.

This is a reply to # 2,077,005Just a thought have u tried green paw paw poultice, good for things attached to bones, bone chips, abcess undertaking. Grate green paw paw and wrap in calico, do not let it rest directly on skin. If you can put up with wearing it leave it on for at least, 12hours . Keep up the treatment for at least 3 days. You should see a difference after first treatment. If it seems like it's working you can go as long as it takes. Best wishes.

You might have to put up with looking like a mummy, but I have had brilliant results with this on all sorts of human and animal ailments.

Yeah I already meditate and that definitely helps my state of mind, which I'm sure has a knock on effect on the body. I'm going away for the summer but might look into finding a good holistic doctor when I get back.- Re: Jaw bone abscess causing all my ... jamyang

This is a reply to # 2,077,332I have used what we call paw paw. Not sure other sorts. Has to be green. Not ripe yet. I grate it and I get one of those calico ham bags to put it in already perfect to fold into shape and keeps it contained. I have used this to dissolve floating bone chips in horses legs, fused joints on rescue horses, got 90% movement back. Abcessed feet, it is amazing, I could go on, but I don't want to build up your hopes. If I Was near you I would do it for you.!!!! All the best good luck, let me know if you need more info. This is a reply to # 2,094,016Thanks for the info but I tried high dose ascorbic acid (in excess of 50g a day) for a few weeks and though I definitely felt healthier and stronger it didn't fix me, and I had to stop because it was hindering my fight against parasites because they like to steal it all and use it for their immune systems.
