I have used what we call paw paw. Not sure other sorts. Has to be green. Not ripe yet. I grate it and I get one of those calico ham bags to put it in already perfect to fold into shape and keeps it contained. I have used this to dissolve floating bone chips in horses legs, fused joints on rescue horses, got 90% movement back. Abcessed feet, it is amazing, I could go on, but I don't want to build up your hopes. If I Was near you I would do it for you.!!!! All the best good luck, let me know if you need more info.
