Can you back up your claims?
Why dump the D? My vitamin D levels were at 16ng/mL when taking 2500IU, I need it to keep my levels right, my country isn't very sunny and I don't expose myself too much to sun.
And why would 100mg be safe and not 1mg? Any proof of that?
I'm taking 1mg because that's the intake of japanese people between 1-3mg, if they did that for centuries it's certainly safe...
On the other side, no one has ever done 100mg long term, I want you to know that I'm not trying to cure

Iodine to cure my
Iodine deficiency induced hypothyroidism which is the reason of me being overweight.
As for the selenium, I took it but each time I take selenium (200mcg) it shuts down my thyroid and I have no bowel movement in the day, I dropped it when I noticed that the day I take selenium+iodine my BMs shuts down and when I take
Iodine alone they come back.
And I need BMs to lose weight, if I don't have them I gain back what I lost.
This is for the experience part, for the scientific part, I have read several studies saying selenium cause weight gain and slows down the thyroid by eliminating H202 which is necessary for T4 synthesis and without T4 you get no T3.
