I honestly believe most of us are like this due to diet. This started for me this year and I'm 19 years old so I'm past puberty so the fact it's heredity TMAU is something I'm thinking of ruling out. Was there a point in your life before this started where you diet was considerably poor? I had anorexia and the only things I'd eat and drink were
Sugar free sodas and energy drinks and chocolate (as I thought if I was gonna be made to eat something it better be nice). So as you can see for a year I more or less, only had
Sugar and artificial sweeteners being put into my body. Then when I put the weight back on, I binged on
Sugar filled food which obviously did not help the situation. The smell only became noticeable when I returned to a normal diet but was still consuming godly amounts of energy drinks and diet cola and now I was at University so the concept of alcohol came to light. Do you experience any differences when you consume sugars (mainly fructose which is found in fruits, soda, alcohol etc)? If so I think we both may have SIBO. Symptoms are apparently very similar to what IBS is. Getting
Antibiotics and then probiotics from our doctors and changing are diet for a couple of months should do the trick hopefully
