Hello all,
I recently started making homemade water kefir (drinking about 4-6
oz per day), and taking tumeric (1 teaspoon per day) in addition to a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar per day.
I am noticing my insomnia, heart palpitations, and GERD issues have kicked up as I have added these things back in. I have also been ridiculously tired, but insomnia will do that to you whether or not die off is involved. I can see why Tumeric might cause a GERD flare up, but is water kefir acidic or irritating in any way to the gut? (I stopped tumeric 2 days ago, symptoms haven't changed)
Any sense whether this is a good sign that candida is dying and just irritating my gut inevitably, or whether I should back off? I miss sleeping, and a return of my least favorite symptoms is a bit disconcerting.
My biggest issue is that I feel bad after eating, and that I have significant heart palpitations. Quite confident i have candida, however I do not know how severe at this point.
Any advice is welcomed!
