Hello.
I am a real person with a very real story of contracting a strange and aggressive form of cancer some time around 2009.
In some senses, my cancer was technically terminal from the time I knew of its existence. I was in denial about the severity of my migraines until a tumor was found in a CT scan in July of 2010 and I was not given much hope. I saw three surgeons for consultations, each time paying out of pocket only to discover that none of them would operate because the tumor was laying along side my brain.
The first time I met with the best and most experienced surgeon, I asked a series of hopeful questions about treatment options. But I could see that everyone in the room was grim after seeing the CT scan. Tears rolled out of the eyes of the young assistant and I could see them splash off her cheeks as she looked down at her hands putting tools back into containers.
I knew I was in big trouble right away. The medical literature I read in the weeks that followed confirmed my worst suspicions; I was expected to die within a few months.
I was an internet librarian with access to every medical study ever published, so I began searching for information and alternatives. What I found was that there were no known cases of survival without immediate surgery. Even more dismal was that the patients who survived the surgery lost motor functions in parts of their faces and bodies due to severing nerves for the surgery.
After telling my boss about my illness, I was let go from my job. Then, just after I ran out of all of my savings I finally figured out what was causing the cancer.
Once I had this knowledge, I was able to remove this toxic influence, and find a way to reverse the illness. But by this time, with two children and no work for over a year, I was struggling to keep the lights on and the kids fed.
I built holisticnutritionforlife.com to provide economical and sustainable ways to heal from cancer and other illness. After what I have been through and what I saw my children go through, I have a lot of compassion for people with cancer and their families. Now I would love to have some contributions from other people and some links to information-based site to share with my readers.
If you would like to contribute your knowledge and experience, it would be much appreciated and could save someone's life.
Thank you for reading this. Salute!
