Just getting swamped with the posts on the "fatty liver" previously, so much info to digest.
I feel I may be in the same catagoy, maybe. But, I do eat low fat and always have, which I know is not good ...especially the good fats.
The past year I could not tolerate Omegs 3 fish oil most of the time, would get more anxiety. . . so unusual and opposite of what it should have done. Don't know if it was the sourse "fish" but, wonder about Flax oil?
But, too, does not most all nuts and seeds contain high amounts of copper? Wonder than it thre is a high concentration of copper in Flax oii?
So, it is my understanding ( please let me know, as I really don't know) that if one's bile-gallbladder, liver is not functions well, it will not digest and utilize fats intake well?
I would like to be able to take some form of Omega 3,6 & 9, as it is so beneficial for the brain too.

I do agree about not using highly processed oils,
but I do believe in using cold-pressed, expeller pressed raw oils in moderation. . . . even in Biblical times, the raw form of olive oil was used.
I have not used processed oils in years.
I just don't believe that not using any of these "Good, raw-organic, unprocessed oils is bad for one.
The brain needs oils, especially Omega 3's, and for the endrocrine glands and inflammation, as "Life Extension" indicates, a very highly respectable source that intigrates conventional, but mostly alternative, longevity health.

right on.
that was really great information about oils being referenced in the bible.
even if you are vegetarian, nuts and seeds which include oils in their unprocessed form are part of a healthy balanced diet.
the brain, nervous system, cell wall for every cell in your body, liver, colon, lungs, and probably every organ needs a certain amount of fats/oils to remain healthy.
for people who are very ill it is ok to abstain for a while to give the body a rest, but prolonged avoidance will lead to other possibly worse problems.

This is a reply to # 2,013,083Yes, I like what you said in reference to resting the body, that is the digestive. I wished I were not hypoglycmic or had such severe AF, as otherwise I would love to be able to do a few days water, fresh vegetable only fast and a cleanse too. I'm hoping some day I can be able to do this, when the time is right. If I had the strenght so, I'd love to grow my own Barley grass and juice it myself.

Balance, Yeng and yang. I have read that one needs a minimun of 2 tablespoons worth of "GOOD" unprocessed oil.

That total of 2 tbsp worth of oil would more likely be your total fat intake of the day.
