So I've been consistently on 2-3 drops SSKI daily per dose for quite some time now. On top, I add Selenomethionine (200mcg), Mixed Mag (200 - 300 mg), and closer to nature multi-vitamin daily. I'm finding it's not enough any more.
After starting to feel run down and tired, I wondered if something is going on that's interfering with the supplementation.
Experimenting around 6 drops of SSKI per dose fixed it.
Originally, my nose would run a bit with 2-3 drops. It hasn't been runny for a while now. Upping the dose did the trick and got things moving once more.
Also, my body started to become colder lately, or at least that's what I perceived. Upping SSKI raised temps back to what feels like normal.
Now, I noticed that I may "feel" warm according to my own perception, but another person many "feel" cold in the same environment. When I touch the person that "feels" cold, their skin is often very warm. Anyone else have similar experiences?

Yes, I used to have cold hands. Since teenage. After a year on Iodine I was much more frequently warm. Now my hands rarely feels cold; actually my female friends use my hands as handwarmers sometimes :)
Feeling cold / warm "inside" vs skin temperature can be different in the beginning, but in my experience will become more correlated over time.
In my 2 nd year on Iodine I had a decline in energy and temperature due to reducing the dosage of lugols,

What really get the temperature up in my case is gold leafs, probably due to its action on the glands.

This is a reply to # 2,007,842Aurum, gold. One site linked is for Colloidal Gold ; which I tried years ago, before iodine. Had some effect on skin, thats all I can say. Cant find many good reports on gold leafs, but I bet Newport can give some info.
I tried the physical form of gold in may / june, (edible gold leaf) had a temperature increase, from warm to HOT. Had to reduse the iodine.
I wasnt sure if it was the gold or the wheat / grain quit causing this, so for a couple of months I didnt take any gold, kept up all the others, like iodine.
A slightly reduced body temp as a result; from 37.4 to 37. I prefer the former.
I believe my adrenal fatigue / very high stress I have in the fall has its say in this. Not only thyroid run the temp.

They were trying to turn lead into gold.
So they thought gold was a good thing.
I bet most of those alchemist people would eat gold.

Some cool reading, since we are a bit geometric these days;

- I always wondered about sulfur and mercury; two BIG remidies in homeopathy.
Together with gold those two are the basics of alchymi.
Time to revisit what they new thousands of years ago?

This is a reply to # 2,008,599I certainly agree with not mixing the blood. I for one would want nothing to do with the WITCHES and WARLOCKS described in those books. There is more that a little hint of canabalism there too, with the "adolescent" edible plants. But of course, historically cannibalism & witchcraft have often been associated (for ex. in Hansel & Gretle). Many of the practices described in Harry Potter books are similar to satanism. Yeal, they can call me a "muggle" or anything they want. I want nothing to do with such "creatures" who try to make those look subhuman who don't want to play their dark and dangerous games.
