Thanks, Grizz. I'll order the Lugol's. My alternative practitioner gave me the potassium iodide, saying my body will convert it to necessary form/s needed by the body. This stuff is potent!! Definitely cleaning out gunk.

I've got about 5 more IV chelations left to do. I've been doing them once a week. I just added in the Iodide as an adjunct to the IV chelation, hoping it will mobilize metals so that the chelation will catch them and take them out.

the correct Iodine to take is SSKI 2% with magnets. or for the more adventurous, SSKI and Lugols 5% with magnets.

MINIMUM dose - 100mg total.

the government has people focused on micrograms. a hundred years ago people were taking Iodine by the gram. who was healthier - then or now?

100mg is not a super dose. its the bare minimum.

Let me start out by saying I Really Appreciate!! what Trapper has done with this forum, I have learned SO much from him and the VWT team! but on one point I beg to differ.

If you are having such reactions at 270 micrograms! per day and you try to go to 6.25mg or 12.5 mg or 100 mg you would, in my opinion, be NUTS

When I started out I could barely even breathe the Iodine (from one drop in a glass with water). I had to increase by the number of breaths I took per day! and had reactions as severe as yours at every little microstep.

Perhaps for some people rubbing up to 6.25mg or more can get a more efficient detox going, but frankly those are people who still have bodily systems in place that Can be rubbed up. Unfortunately, there are some of us that are So TOXED to the limit and damaged we simply don't even have that.

Go very slow please.

The Iodine will help you! as you persist. It simply will be a long haul, but more than worth it.

Also, I was able to take simple Iodide (KI) solutions at first much better than those (like Lugol's) with a mix that included iodine (I2).
