Lufenuron can cause die-off syptoms(if candida overgrowth is present) and mucus production...That was my experience. Keep us posted.. I hope it helps. Hopefully you can get to the point where you can load up on probiotics after the anti-fungal treatment.
Lufenuron made me feel like a new person for about 10 days and then I started to get bad die-off syptoms for about 3 weeks after that. I heard the lufenuron can stay in your intestines for 2-4 weeks. The die-off was too much for me to work and take care of 2 kids at the same time so I only did one treatment out of Sarah Vaughter's three pack. I really need about 2-3 months off work to hammer this crap. So I'm pretty limited right now on gaining the upper hand, but I can only battle this crap for so long and might have to take some serious time off work to gain some good ground. The problem is you get the battle from trying to reduce the candida in numbers and then trying to restablish the gut ecosystem and then trying to detox your body from chemicals/toxins/metals. It can be a hard battle especially when one has to work and take care of 2 ankle biters(toddlers).
The 1st phase of the Lufenuron treatment is the 5 day loading phase. The Lufenuron takes a little while to settle in the GI tract. Once it settles in is when the die-off can start. Sarah Vaughter's website goes into more detail. I was taking nothing else at the time so I could pinpoint the effects of lufenuron by itself. Diet was some nut butters/meat, fish, very little carbs. Some of the bad symptoms/inflammation I could contribute to too much fatty meat. I worked but was miserable.
Lufenuron really helped out a past member on the forum(Tony Orlando). He went through some bad die-off as well, but fortunately was not working at the time. He has some good posts. Lufenuron might not do much for people that have mild "yeast" overgrowth.Lufenuron is more designed to work on chitin, which is higher in fungal candida.
Molybdenum didnt help much.Vitamin C flushes/betonite clay helps with die-off but I dont like to get in a habit of doing those.
Interesting product. A reduced form of ALA with some probiotics. A bit on the pricey side $130 for 8oz. How has the product helped ?
Not a fan of five-lac. Overpriced for what your getting and contains B-Subtilis which can effect good+bad bacteria. Dr. Jeff advices to stay from products that have B-subtilis. Good luck with the Lufenuron.
