It seems we have opposite experiences with our illnesses. I used to have yellow skin, no energy or digestive power. I was really into juicing, eating raw veggies and fasting to get better. It didn't work at all and caused me more problems. Fasting made my insides all inflamed. The veggies were going through me undigested, bloating me out, and giving me really bad gas. I had a terrible odor all the time even with 5 layers of organic deodorant. It wasn't until I started eating eggs/meats/butter when my health improved dramatically. My skin turned to a normal color, I got a ton more energy, and my odor went away. I wasn't back to 100% but I cant imagine my body healing all the damage that was done over night.

I agree that people shouldn't over do it with the coconut oil. Especially a really sick person. She should cut down and slowly increase consumption of it. I started at 1 teaspoon twice a day and went from there.

Anyways, I just wanted tell you I had tried all the stuff you preach and none of it worked for me. I could not tolerate fruits, potatoes, or rice.

Sweet potatoes are not high glycemic, I'll eat that and lentils over fruit. Meat acificies the blood so infections can run wild. It causes stress on the liver, which you need to make digestive enzymes. Candida has many causes, the cure has to be a strict colitis- ease of digestion diet and meat is the worst thing for it. I cut meat and feel great. Will I have 3 bananas in a day, no. Fruit doesn't help the situation but meat is toxic for it. Obsessing over carbs not only doesn't help, it causes people to fill the diet with fatty tough meat that wrecks their insides.
