I have at any time 3 different sources of Sea Salt , one mined Himalayan and two ocean sourced like Chilean and Celtic. Then pick the one that I crave, but for Salt treatments I only use White Sea Salt .

That is Salt made from filtered sea water without the special process some factories use. I find that when I take that much 'non white' salt the mineral intake is too much.

Yes, you can take it anyway you like; the only thing that happens if one take to much salt, is that one get thirsty.
I have never done a real salt load, as I take my salt in the morning, and evening, almost every day. Because I crave it.
