I just recalled your idea of forming some kind of group/organisation to help
today it clicked finally in my mind that it would be a fantastic idea, especially good thing would be to share/exchange all the symptoms so we can determine the pathogen and then come up with the most effective/efficient treatment
I think this site is a very good one, but lacks the organisation, many things need to be repeated for new people and the info is all over
would be really good to have a site with a database where we could keep all symptoms info and all treatments info, I think that would be a great help, plus all pertinent information that we live in our daily lives that could help in idendifying the infections
I think when I get little better so I can concentrate I'd be more thinking about starting something as I have an IT background and could do many (technical) things myself. right now it's almost impossible to think about anything else but "how to get rid of these monsters before they kill me".
But wanted to let you know that your idea resonated with me, with a delay but still!! I think it would be a great help for all people suffering like us. I think "lineup" did set up similar site for protozoa infections.
But from my experience protozoa is usually just covering other parasites ( by that I don't mean to say that protozoa cannot be on its own, just in my own experience I know that protozoa and bacteria and viruses form biofilms). But maybe we can think of it when we can and then when we're are able to function better we could come up with something.

would be nice to have a place to go to and find someone with similar experiences, at least would feel normal
for a while
since everybody has parasites should be relatively easy to form some meetups but I think most people let themselves to be drugged by the medical and then they don't feel anything, so of course, they think parasites travel with the passports and their entry is banned in certain countries- Re: for lorri32 #146484

I think that is a great idea..to have a place where you can go to discuss your situations, and share info, and help each other..in this way you can feel less isolated, and a bit normal..:) IT's embarrasing to even speak about this problem to anyone,(even doctors!) .:(, and it'd be nice to have support..:)

This is a reply to # 1,895,939yes I've been thinking along these line for years, do you know there is not one single parasite support group or forum here in the UK, crazy so CureZone I discovered in 2003, is a mine of valuable information.
and yes again to it's so solitary a life being infected, to be able to go face to face in a support group, to meet and talk with others who have similar infections would instill courage to carry on the fight by supporting, learning and gathering new information on identification and treatments.

some people get tested so they can say what they feel etc. so we would be able to match it to someone else with the same symptoms
the key is that all would be based only on our own experiences, but still I think it would be more valuable than whatever they write about parasites
sometimes it's more than silly when you read for example that dirofilaria immitis does not develop in a human body!!!
I've got them and I KNOW how well they can develop!!
You're very right - they acknowledge everything except of parasites, that's why i think whatever they write about them is just guessing and typically people who have no idea, no personal experience with them write about them, which is crazy and that's why the information about them is such as it is - at times it leaves you thinking what the hell?? how do the know or else how come they do not know????
I think the biggest issue would be to find everything about websites - not how to build it but from the technical point of view, how to put it up etc., then find someone who would do the initial draft and give a learning lesson and then we could just take turns in maintaining it, I really think it would be such a fantastic idea (unless it'll become illegal to even talk about parasites....)- Re: for lorri32 steps

They are not prepared for this crisis and trust me again one does not have to travel to get the buggers!!

You know when I saw this educated idiot of a parasitologist at the London Tropical and his idiot fawning assistant who told me that parasites can't do much harm and not to worry about it, we all have them he said, like soldiers in the trenches had [stronglyes] - and they survived, what the war of course!!
Seriously it was a nightmare to hear all this crap from the two of them, dismissing everything I put forward and the main parasitologist is a little man of a meglamaniac, on television his boasts and beams about how proud his family were of his achievements! I only wish he had a dose of what I'm suffering may be then he would really learn what parasites are all about,

This is a reply to # 1,895,882I knew I had it as it was found in me a while ago and I treated it and thought it's gone, but when I read that toxoplasma is a tissue protozoa then I thought - ok I'll run this and yes, seems that the large things in the muscles and skin and even eyes (that's all impacted as per the info in the first link you've attached) is toxomplasma.
I recall reading article where I read about Martina Navratilova (a former Czech/American tennis player) having this toxoplasmosis, they were unable to diagnose it in the USA, so she went to the Czech Rep and doctors there found it and treated it; she said she was suffering a long time and basically that was a reason she had to stop playing tennis (or maybe one of them, don't remember the details now, just remember she had toxomplasmosis, I think even wiki says that, but not sure now).
So I was rather wrong thinking of protozoa as being "only" a "biofilm" material - it can get quite dangerous I guess and explains now why I do feel this even in the ears and hair/scalp.

Protozoa are of many different kinds (e.g. Amoeba, Paramecium). Some protozoa are parasites (disease-causing germs).
