I had my best results when i was doing a diet that was mainly chicken/turkey breast and low fat fish with some cooked chard juice/occasional fatty meat . After 2 months of doing that i felt the best i ever had. Unfortunately, I lost 15 pounds and relapsed thinking that i was healed. Its hard to do that almost non-fat diet when you have an outside job in the winter time. I did that diet in the summer, but unfortunately i did not load up the probiotics(including fecal tranfsers) like i should have--- and relapsed.
The diet did work. The diet worked very well, but it took a lot of discipline and my energy was low. I relapsed because i went off the diet eating some no no's thinking that i was out of the woods. Its amazing how fast candida can come back in full force. 2 weeks of bad eating erased 2 months of near perfect eating.
Ive tried the no/low fat diet including starches. It worked great for about a week than the candida was attracted to the starches.
