Genova has you collect into a synthetic medium that supports microbe growth—assumes the microbes in your stool are alive and can be cultured on medium to increase their numbers and isolate them from each other. Then they use staining and microscopy to try to identify.
IMO Genova’s false assumptions result in lots of false negative, i.e. you have it but the lab can’t find it.

Uh...Kill the Candida. Take Caprylic Acid, Undecylenic Acid (available on the internet) or Silver Colloid Water (SEE: Silver Colloid Forum). Gotta mix up the therapy as that stuff is tenacious AND AVOID FOODS THAT HAVE YEAST FOOD LIKE YEAST BREAD--EAT CRACKERS--AND BEER. Easy.
