Ok, so you we have the equivalent of a chihuahua in our intestinal tract...4 pounds or so. So you think a few billion dry, dehydrated inactive organisms will have ANY effect on 4 pounds of fungi???
Not all probiotics are dry, dehydrated and inactive. Cultured foods, such as kefirs, sauerkraut, miso, tempeh, etc. are also probiotic sources. And don't forget we need prebiotics to feed the flora.
All I do is home made probiotics, kraut, water kefir, and milk kefir. I did not do any probiotics for 2 months when beating this beast down with nystatin and *extreme diet (leaves, chicken legs, mineral water).
I did not have any other infection that I know of, though. Have you researched colloidal silver and H2O2 therapy?
I started taking colloidal recently - it's a natural antibiotic and was used by even doctors before antibiotics. It knocked a sinus infection out in a day! I also sprayed it on my kid's "nursery sores," from church, aka STAPH, and it knocked those out too.
I just got in my food grade 35% hydrogen peroxide to experiment starting tomorrow. Supposedly it oxygenates and purifies the blood, burns out fungi, bacteria, and viruses. I will report on that next month, though not sure if I'm a good guinea pig as I'm already clear of my infection.
Peroxide is beneficial, but very slow. Don't forget to DILUTE it before use. Wear gloves when handling it, and don't get it on the skin, eyes, mouth, clothes, etc. undiluted.
You have to build up a tolerance to the peroxide, which is one of the reasons it is so slow. One drop of the diluted peroxide in a glass of water on an empty stomach, then work up to 2 drops, three drops, etc.
It does little to oxygenate the blood and does not burn out viruses, bacteria and fungi. Peroxide is quickly broken down in the body by antioxidant enzymes, such as catalase and peroxidases, in to water and oxygen. But one or even a hundred drops of peroxide are not going to add any significant amount of oxygen to the body. The primary role of peroxide in the body is the activation of white blood cells, which is how the peroxide helps with infections.
100 drops of peroxide won't oxygenate you. LOL!!! awesome dude.
You get more oxygen from a single breath than you do from 100 drops of peroxide. And how fast do you think that oxygen gets used up.
breathing has not been scientifically proven to oxygenate anyone either.
If you say so......
Yes, I think many of us on this forum agree that with a SEVERE, SYSTEMIC candida fungal infection,
Systemic Candida is EXTREMELY rare.
probiotics as well as any supplements and vitamins are not only ineffective, but being used by the candida as a food source.
I disagree. As the studies I have presented several times show it is these benefical flora that generate the acids that keep the Candida growth under control and keep the Candida in its benign yeast form instead of tis pathogenic fungal form.
I am curious though as to where you found the claim that the Candida feeds on probiotics. I have never seen any evidence to this.
Also many medical professionals who treat candida agree as well (Dr. Bruce Semon is one).
You can only recolonize your gut with the good guys after you have beaten back the fungus so your intestinal lining is once again normal and able to accept and actually utilize the bacteria.
Again, it is the beneficial flora that control the growth of the Candida to begin with. The flora generate acids that turn off the Candida growth gene and keep the Candida in a benign yeast form:
