It would make sense then that a period of time when my diet was strictest the itching began to subside - no bread or baked goods, basically low to no carbs. I also lost weight I could not afford to lose, but I will do anything right now to make this stop. I am anxious for it to go away, not filled with anxiety as I was and as is reflected in the earlier posts. I am actually quite calm to a point where folks wonder if I have a pulse - just choosing not get riled over much anymore. I gave as much hysteria to this life as I am willing to - it did not ever help make me well. I am keeping my eye on the progress I have made, also included in posts. I am no longer suffering anything but a relentlessly itchy scalp, and if gluten is the culprit I will heed your words, will learn from your experience, especially if the accidental gluten starts the whole cycle again...geesh! I am sure it will not be fun scouting out every source of gluten in food, but I have been through worse - like where all this started was HELL.
I am already well into Borax for my scalp and body - I don't wash either with any detergent - wish I did not have to bath in tap water!!!! I have only been adding borax to laundry soap instead of using only borax to wash clothes.
I will look into DNA marker, unfortunately not all suggestions along the way have been affordable. I WISH I could try many things - wish for the whole house water filtration system, a rife machine, on and on, etc.....
Thank you Mendomaid!
