Hi Guys,
Surfer27 here. Hey, I just noticed something interesting about this fecal body odour condition, that I've been dealing with the last 5 yrs. Well, I did a test! What I did, was: put my finger lightly on my anal area, around the hole area, to see if it smelled and apparently it does! When I brought my finger back to my nose, I could literally smell feces, so i have my confirmation, that it must defintely be coming through my pore area from my anus, through my skin in that location!!! I don't know why, but it is!!! The weird thing is, no amount of changing body wash lotions helps, which I find interesting! It makes me think that, because of this, I must have a malodor type anal odour, coming off my skin! However, the weird thing is: when I did a cleanse for 1 month and a half, that should've released my skin of this probelm right? Well no, it didn't do squat!!! lol. I still have this darn condition!!! So now, because I did this self test on myself and I know for a fact, it's coming from my skin externally, because I could smell it, I really at a loss and really baffled!!!!! Now, I don't know what to think or even how, I could explain this to my doctor!! The last time I did and I told me about the self test I did on myself, he said he didn't smell anything, yet, whenever I'm around other people, everytime, people either rub their noses or cough very loudly, when I'm within close proximity to them! This I know, isn't coincidence!! I don't believe in coincidences!! No such thing!! lol. Anyways, if has any other ideas, as to what they've tried to reduce their fecal body odour coming from their skin externally, I'm all hears and would love to hear from ya!! Okay gotta go, but I hope to hear from ya soon and please, even if something semi helps, with their fecal body odour problems, even if it's not a cure, please, please post in on Curezone here and other health boards!! Hey man, I don't notice my odour getting worse with any foods I eat at all, but 1 interesting development is, whenever I drink something sugary like Coke, my fecal body odour condition, changes from fecal to a diaper like odour! Getting back to the whole foods issue, no matter what I take, it doesn't matter, as: like I was saying, since this smell is coming from my skin pores, no matter who many times I shower, it doesn't get rid of this fecal body odour and I've tried everything! Currently, I'm going back on a internal cleanse, which contains aloe vera, burdock root, slippery elm bark and some other blood cleansing herbs, to see if I can get rid of this horrible condition!!! Hopefully, this starts to clear up my condition eventually, although it's been too early to tell, as I've only done it now for 2 days. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me!! If you don't mind me asking what type of remedies have you done(example: colon cleansing, juicing, water fasting), and how long have you done it? Surfer27 here. Hey, based on what you said, I have to correct you on, one important thing! First off, I needed to make this clear, so I will! I have never said that I was cured of this fecal body odour condition!! If you have seen my posts on Curezone, Medhelp, or anywhere else, is because I am suggesting things to people, not because I am cured!! I am currently, still looking for a cure to my condition!!! I have tried alot of things over the years! Here below is a listing of the things, I've tried:

This is all I can think of currently, but for the majority of 2 months straight, I was on probiotics and the bowel cleanse, which still after doing that, did not help remove my fecal body odour condition! This is a reply to # 1,812,435Yeah the message I've sent earlier was a typo. I meant to say that you were the person who tried all these remedies that supposedly cured other people of their fecal odor. I actually do have a lot questions, and I think we both might have the same disorder.
My Body Odor gets worse whenever I eat or drink anything with sugar(refined) and dairy.But, you said earlier that your Body Odor doesn't get worse but it changes odor. I do believe some of these remedies work, but you have to work it in conjunction of a restrictive diet, you could take all these supplements at the same time but it won't do any good if you're still eating the food that makes you smell (trust me, I'm well aware of it).
So I guess the more important question is what does your diet look like? Also, have you ever thought that your Body Odor is maybe a result from a metabolic disorder? TMAU is the most known metabolic disorder that produces body odor yet they're plenty of others out there. When you have a metabolic disorder, your body is not able to break down certain foods(or more like proteins and sugars), these undigested substances will then get dumped into your small intestines which then gets excreted out your skin, lungs, and I think breath. This is similar to eating too much garlic, the body can't break down a certain chemical in the garlic so it then gets excreted out the skin. So that's one of my theories of what's wrong with me and this maybe something that's wrong with you. Sorry for the long message, I just wanted to know what you've been eating while taking these supplements

It's Surfer27 here. Hey man, thanks for returning my email! Okay yeah, about my diet, i've been eating very, very healthy! I've been eating alot of fruits, like: bananas and apples, along with meals, like: soups, salad, gluten free breads, carrots, peas, corn, brussle sprouts, potatoes, chicken and fish. These are the only main things I can think of that I eat in a meal, along with eggs! Other than that, I basically, have gone on a Gluten Free Diet for 6 months, where I literally got rid of all wheat and yeast, along with any sugars from my body and it, still didn't make one difference, when it came to my fecal body odour, so i don't believe diet is the problem for me! My problem seems to lie elsewhere! I believe it may have something to do with TMAU, but cannot get the funds, to get this test done, but once I'm able to get these funds in, which could be quite sometime before that happens, then I'll look into the TMAU possibility! I know my old family doctor diagnosed me, with Irritable Bowel Syndrome 11 yrs ago, but I don't believe that's the cause of my problem! If it was, then I would've been cured of this horrible malady years ago! lol. Anyways, if you wanna ask me more questions, feel free, as I'm on daily!! Okay, gotta go. This is a reply to # 1,813,496Irritable Bowel Syndrome you say? Hmmm... IBS is sometimes linked to SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) and the overgrowth of bacteria is often the cause of odor. Hmmm... maybe I'm just jumping the gun too quick. You said your doctor diagnosed you with IBS 11 years ago huh? Did you notice any changes in your odor or anything else during that time? What type of symptoms did you have for IBS?(ex. diarrhea, cramping, constipation).Also do you still have IBS? Have you ever thought about trying a FODMAP or SIBO diet, it's intended to help people with IBS. Sorry for so many q's, but I just have two more questions. What do you personally feel is wrong with you and did you start getting these symptoms during your teen years?(more like during puberty)

It's Surfer27 here. Hey man, okay, when I got onto my Gluten Free diet for 6 months, it didn't make my IBS worse or better! My IBS symptoms, were: cramping, bloating, diaherria and bowel rumbling! lol. Anways, even after taking probiotics and even taking peppermint oil caps for my IBS, taking the Peppermint Oil Capsules, actually turned my fecal body odour, to a diaherria type body odour, so had to get off the peppermint oil caps asap! lol. Anyhow, I don't know when I developed IBS, but it just came on! I know when I was in Mexico 7yrs ago in November of 2004, that we went down to Mexico and I drank the wrong water there, that could've triggered my IBS into crazy, new heights, but when I came back into Canada, I had labs tests done for SIBO and parasites the stool samples and bloodwork, came back negative for SIBO and parasites in my body!! I've had this test done atleast 2x now, since November 2004 and up, so I have to go with what the tests are telling me! Oh this problem (fecal body odour) started back in January of 2006, just to let ya know!! Just to give ya a heads up, I've also had urine tests, blood tests, kidney and pancreas tests done, heavy metal tests, etc, etc and they came back negative, so I know, my fecal body odour problem, doesn't have anything to do with this, as my doctor already tested me for it and told me, this wouldn't cause this fecal body odour problem 24/7, so he said it could be something else!! Anyhow, I still have IBS to this day after 11 yrs and nothing has changed for the positive! I've already taken things to help eliminate Ibs, like: Glucosamine capsules, Biotin caps and also Mucosal Capsules formulated for helping to heal the IBS issues for months, but it did nothing for me!! I'm starting to notice a pattern with, what's going on with me and that is: this problem with fecal body odour that I have directly has some ties to my skin, but the weird thing, is: I've done cleansing for months now and still am doing it and there isn't any letup in this condition of mine!! This to me, is very frustrating!!! About your question, about how I developed my fecal body odour condition, it's really personal and frankly, I am not comfortable, talking about it, here over the chatboard area, as this will get seen by everyone! lol. Anyhow, as you can see from my previous posts and messages here on Curezone, I've tried alot of things and they've all ended in failure!!! I asked Dr. Johnson, what his next step would be, if I cannot afford to do his first recommendation and he recommended taking the Body Healer, through Aloeman products website! Just recently, within a day ago, I purchased a 16oz bottle of Body Healer and it should arrive to me, by next week Friday at the earliest!! Since I'm almost certain, that this is a definte skin problem, Dr. Johnson told me, it would be related to my waste excreting outta my skin pores, instead of doing it's job properly!! This is why, he recommended that I take the Body Healer, to help cleanse my upper stomach, lower stomach, bowels and colon!! I am hoping, that this does something amazing, as I've tried everything else and don't know what else to do or try, so here's hoping, it works, when I get the product!!! If it does, I would be the happest man on the planet!! lol. But I'll have to wait, for it to be delivered to my place of residence in Ontario, Canada and see what happens!!! This is a reply to # 1,814,224How do you know you smell like diarrhea one day and fecal odor the next? Do you base your odor on other people's reactions or can you smell it yourself? Has anyone plainly told you that you smelled like feces?
What I'm doing currently doing is taking a lot of magnesium and drinking a lot green juices ( for the chlorophyll purposes, but at the same time eating what I regularly eat. I have been doing this normally for about a good 3 weeks. And at the same time I'm going to school,however, I don't know if I smell to people because I have never actually heard someone say that I smelled bad.But, just because I didn't hear people say something about my odor doesn't mean it's not there. So this drives me nuts.
Anyways going back to you, have people comment on your odor recently? And is the body cleansing thing that you were doing recently helping much? And if it is or it isn't how do you know

Good morning! Surfer27 here. Yes, in response to your questions I can actually smell my own fecal Body Odor !! I can smell it 24/7!! From the time i wake up, to the time I go down to bed, I can smell this fecal body odour program and nothing I've tried has gotten rid of it! Yes, I am still doing the cleansing, but it's not doing an ounce of good, in gettting rid of it so far, which is frustrating!! lol. Anyhow, no one has directly said to me, that I smell like feces, however, whenever I am within a foot of people, people always rub their noses, when I'm around and cough very badly, like they are allergic to me! I find this, not to be a conincidence, as it happens to me everyday, so it's getting very annoying and yes, before you ask, I've seen my doctor about it and there is nothing he can do to help me! My doctor doesn't smell it, but I do everywhere I go, so it's really frustrating trying to explain my situation to my doctor, when i cannot bring along someone who can back up my story!!! Anyways, gonna be trying a new product soon, called: Body Healer from Aloeman products! It's a product that can help heal the body both internally and externally, so I should be receiving the product next week Tuesday at the latest! lol. This is a reply to # 1,814,966This has just occurred to me,but have you considered that you may have a sinus infection? I remember reading a case online about somebody who thought he smelled horrible,and he could smell it everywhere he went. He also said that he smelled of feces! But it turned out that he had a sinus infection and got rid of it by taking Antibiotics .

Here was my experience. Historically, i had cronic inflammation in my sinuses caused by allergens. Caused headaches, sinus pain and frequent sinus infections. Most recent infection took a nasty turn. I began smelling and tasting feces everywhere I went. If I sniffed hard, the odor moved to the back of my throat. My wife commented on noticing the odor as well. I went to see the doctor who diagnosed the chronic inflammation and said there was no doubt that the feces smell was a sinus infection. He hit me with three things at once. Nasocort for the inflammation, a dual Antibiotic for the infection and an over the counter sinus rinse to flush out bacteria and dust. It took about two weeks but the fecal smell went away. Now I take a 24 hour antihistamine for the allergies and I use the nasal flush daily. Obviously there could be many different causes of a fecal smell and my experience only covers one cause but I hope it helps. God Bless

The rest of my body smells fine, but my anal region and believe me when I say, I've tried everything in 5yrs to get rid of this and nothing has worked!! MoreThis is a reply to # 1,816,322i havent got tested yet but my next doctors appointment im going to ask him abour testing places. I wud assume its tmau since its coming from ur pores, i guess it cud b anything but since the tmau chemical goes to ur blood stream it makes sense. I cud be wrong though bc i usually just focus on looking a tmau info bc my symptoms seem nearer to it.
