Okay, I'm thinking about doing some coffee enemas and I have questions for those of you who do them.
How many times in one day is the most that you've done? (Uny, what is your recommendation for me?)
Do you ALWAYS have a bowel movement 30-60 mins after the enema? (Uny, what should I assume if I don't have a bowel movement after the CE and what should I do about it? Btw, currently I'm having an easy bowel movement after each meal.)
Based on my last conversation with Uny here, I'm gathering that one problem was that I did it strong enough to have a little bile come out but not enough to induce peristalsis... Also, according to her post, maybe I need to do more than one in a day. Uny, how many days do you suggest that I proceed this way?
Im noticing that I have alot of fear around this and would like to make sure that I have a good solid plan before I start.
(btw, does EFT have to involve tapping? Can you do it without that part? When I'm supersensitive, weak and severely overstimulated the last thing I want to do is tap on myself... I do have some other ways of dealing with fear that I feel like work well and I may just stick with those.)
Yay for you Beth! Coffee enemas are the bomb!
I've only done 1 a day and I do that in what we call back to back. I use half the coffee for one enema and hold it for 12-15 minutes and expel then I do the other half right after that. I haven't worked up to holding the whole thing at one time.
I've never really paid much attention if I've had a bowel movement after a CE but I'm thinking I don't have one that soon after. I try to do my CE after I've had a bowel movement so that I'll be empty when I do it.
Having a plan is always a good thing. Beth, I know your situation is different than mine, I wasn't reactive to anything at all. I was just plain terrified of doing a CE lol! But guess what? After I did my first one it made me feel so GREAT, not to mention the fact that I KNOW how beneficial they are, I felt just like the biggest wuss there ever was for being terrified lol. I can't believe how I had worked myself up (in my mind) about how awful it was going to be! So believe me, I know where you're coming from with the fear girlfriend! But if you can get yourself over that, it will make it so much easier. I just started psyching myself up and telling myself how healing a CE was and that thousands of people have done them and are still up and walking around. You'd be amazed how powerful our minds are in that respect, our bodies listen and react the way we think about something a lot of the time. I know you've got issues that I didn't have but I'm sure Uny will be able to help you though it!
I can't answer about how strong you need to make the solution for your situation but I'm sure Uny will have some advice on that.
EFT does involve tapping but you don't have to tap hard at all, its really just using your fingertips lightly.
I can't wait to hear about your first CE Beth! Well really I guess it'd be your second huh?
Blessings,
Willow
