Hi,
The recipe I followed was pretty much what appears on this website but I think I misunderstood a couple of parts but ended up getting a good result.
I only decided to try the flush on the Saturday morning so I had a very light breakfast and continued to drink a reasonable amount of water until 5pm when I took a mixture of 1 tablespoon of
Epsom Salts mixed in half a pint of grapefruit juice with about another 1/5 of a pint of extra virgin olive oil (this is where I had become a little mixed up as I thought the olive oil had to be taken with these two
Epsom Salt drinks). At 7pm I took another drink of 1 tablespoon of
Epsom Salts and half a pint of grapefruit juice (no olive oil this time). At 10pm I took 3/4 of a pint of extra virgin olive oil mixed with 1/4 pint of grapefruit juice. I drank it in two half pint goes (After drinking the first 1/2 pint I immediately took a large teaspoon of my "home-grown" heather honey which is strong tasting and completely masked the taste of the olive oil) and immediately lay down in bed. I had my laptop resting on my knees which helped take my mind off just having drunk so much oil and watched a DVD for a time until I dozed off to sleep. During the period bewteen lying down in bed and falling asleep, I did not move at all.
At 6am I woke up feeling awful and had to be sick. Quite a lot of olive oil came up and the taste and texture made me sick again. I managed to get back to sleep and woke again at 9am to be sick again after which I felt a little better. 10am came and I was feeling washed out and then took another 1 tablespoon of
Epsom Salts disolved in 1/2 pint of grapefruit juice. Soon after was when the trips to the bathroom started. From the mass of stones and gravel and God knows what else that came out it was certainly successful. I wish I had been able to collect the stones as my friends are gobsmacked at the story !
I hope this is of interest and of use.
