HAY DOC
Glad to see ya keeping it real...
Hey, if you drop me an e-mail askmh108@earthlink.net I will give you the passwords to a folder I am making this year called the amish newsletters. I think you will find it interesting for the fact I am telling them all to seek a good chiropractor for every ailment they have and since they all seem to have large families and barefoot and pregnant till death, you can imagine about every other paragraph is saying see your chiropractor and I think any chiropractor would agree it is the most chiropractic promoting newsletter on the planet.
I have about 1,000 amish, mostly mothers writing questions and I plan on 12 newsletters in 2011 explaining all health problems in simplistic theory as possible with diet and habit as the key steps, chiropractic prevention and treatment, with plant minerals via herbs. The question section gives a true example of the pains american mothers raising large families are going through.
I also am telling them to send in the names of their best / approved chiropractors in their areas, so other amish can find them. If you want listed, send me your address and I will slip it in the March Issue which will be printed by the end of this week. Even cooler, if you so desired, a page from a REAL CHIROPRACTOR explaining in as simple terms as possible what an amish family should be looking for in a chiropractor and what chiropractic can do for their babies and family health would be super cool. I am trying to tell them they need to see a good Chiropractor monthly while pregnant, but what they would really like, is to know exactly what a chiropractor can do for them while pregnant and their new born babies...otherwise, we know they are not going to spend the money on the adults until they hurt. Do you by any chance have a paper written about pregnancy? How many times they should see their chiropractor, etc.?
Have any chiropractic friends that are good that would want listed? For 12 years we have taken calls and letters from Amish asking where they can find a good chiropractor in their area, often they call Dr. Schneider in Urbana and he will look up in an old book that list Chiropractors addresses and what practice they do, such as palmer, etc.
Dr. Schnieder is not into herbal health, de-worming, etc. like you are and he is all chiropractic and good as what he does, but a computer / e-mail type, so I never ask him to write anything, etc....(too professional to come down to the patient level, if you know what I mean)
Any advice for people seeking chiropractic would be very welcome addition to these folks, also can plug your books, etc. on the page. We have seen Amish hire a driver and travel up to 100 miles to see Dr. Schnieder, people that believe in chiropractic will travel, knowing they are the only "real" doctors we need for normal sickness.
Many Blessings,
MH
