Thanks a lot for explaining, this is really interesting because a lot of people say that sweating causes inflammation. For me, I often feel that sweating causes SD inflammation on my scalp.
It's a shame though, that you feel you can't run. Would you be willing to try something? Exercise/run as hard as you like one day. Let your face sweat, but when it does, immediately wash your face several times with just water. Continue the same way through your work out, dousing and rubbing your face with water when you sweat. At the close of your workout, immediately shower, being sure to let water run over your face and hair for at least 5 minutes.
There are some theories out there that this can prevent re-infection, and that with this approach, you can actually decreases your SD through sweating. I hope you'll give it a shot.
