I had symtoms of vaginal yeast ever since I started heavily parastie cleansing. Dr. Crandell says that I still got it from
Antibiotics , which I really haven't had that much of, like one every 5 years......I was always told on here it was because of
parasites that you get the yeast, they suck up all your nutrients, therefore creating an imbalance...
Vaginal yeast, itch, discharge. on and off with me treating from diflocan, 1 pill, here and there, to heavily treating by home treatments....1 year ago, it was so bad, but I was treating with vinegr/water douches daily, then swithed to boric acid suppositorys', for months and months. Itch slowly came back and when I went back to my gyno, he said, NO YEAST is seen!!! Kept me wondering what the heck for months. He gave my hydrocortezones, and told me "discharge will cause itch" and I said, NO WAY!! Kept going back to see if it was yeast. He never found yeast in cultures/swabs....finally it was so bad this October, I fired him and finally found another gyno. She this time found yeast on the swab, but culture came back negative. Jorge here on the forum told me what I had. and to look into Dr. Crandell. So, I did, and ordered her packet. What they described is exacly what I have, it's when the yeast lies dormant underneith the skin. It's inactive. That is why the cultures all came back normal. But it's there and still itches. No discharge!!! Nothing, just maddning itch. My new Gyno put me on Diflocan, every othr day, and Teraconozole cream every night. Dr. Crandell helps people to get treated properly for yeast infections and shows you exacly step by step how to go about it. My gyno is interested in speaking with her!!! So, bottom line, if I'm not on the antifungals for long term now, it will come back. I'v had this way to long. After about 1 1/2 weeks, I'm starting to feel a lot better, but need the medication. The diet reallydidn't help me that much. I have cut out
Sugar completely, and eat really healthy..but its extremely complicated and overwhelming. I don't have gastro symtoms, at all, but still have a rectal itch. Dr. Crandell thinks I have a yeast allergy and I need to gt the proper test for it. It's not easy to get though. So, in a nutshell, I have an "intercellular" type yeast. It's gone deeper in the vaginal tissues. I had it in my gut, but seems to have cleared. No other symtoms.
