I wondered about whether human hair that appears in your hairbrush, your comb or even on your pillow at night would be useful in a way that would contribute to the environment through reuseable uses.
If so, there would potentially be, an absolutely massive and ongoing abundance of hair, for the duration of the exsistence of the human being.
As hair salons and barber shops spend half their day sweeping discarded hair and throwing it in the waste bin, why not throw it in a recycable and reusable bin. It then would be collected every few days and taken away for reusable purposes.
I had a bit of a look on the internet on this matter and was amazed to find just how useful hair actually is.
Hair is a great gatherer of oil and gathers oil from oil polluted air, oil polluted water which means it is able to aid substantially if an oil spill disaster were to happen.
It would be great to see large oil companies write up standing orders and instructions using the hair attributes of gathering and absorbing oil and have a fully equipped ready reaction team to be on standby, utilise the hair, for immediate action if an oil spill was to happen.
Here are the links I found in regards to the usefulness of discarded hair.
