Ok, let me give you my experience.
When I treated candida for first time in 2008, I got a point where I felt my body was asking for nutrition. I did a short protocol with diet, 21 days on Fluconazole, Threelac and some supplements. This was a month after I took one month
Antibiotics . My gut was perfect before the
Antibiotics . So, I thought I have ended with it and ready to continue my normal live. I didn't jump over
Sugar and refined carbohydrates but began eating some fruits, rice, beans, fruit yogurts, whole bread, soy milk, potatoes, etc. Overtime, ( 3 months ) I began to feel bad again, lack of energy, bad digestions, bloating, bad all over. So, even eating in that way and taking probiotics and some natural antifungals, I couldn't keep the point I reached. I thought god will allow me to live without
Sugar and refined carbohidrates for the rest of my life, and I was able to pay this price, but things were different. The monster dosen't want you eat anything. It was and still is a very sad thought to me because sick people get better when they eat. The only illness in this world that doesn't allow you to eat is this tragedy. So, you have to face two things, if you keep eating vegetables and proteins for the rest of your days, you will be miserable because carbohydrates are an important source of quick energy. But even eating complex low glycemic index carbohydrates, candida can show up again and keep you sick with
food intolerances , leaky gut, etc. Otherwise, you MUST eat because you are human and need a live. I can tell you clear that the two times I have been almost normal have been eating better but not during an anticandida diet. I have been miserable with a severe diet every time I have tried it. Simple, vegetables, proteins, olive oil, coconot oil, almonds, and other fat sources, don't hold my day. Another thing is there is a point where you are afraid to eat, you don't want to eat anything because you are in a panic state. I am writing it to you because I don't want you make the same mistakes I made. Open your diet very slowly and be tracking how you feel. I had hope that god allows me to eat with limitations but I didn't happen. As you see, this is really hard because if we don't end with candida and the intestinal problems, how we can continue ??
Again, I couldn't find an intermedium point where I was symptom free but still eating a little bit better. I even tried it with Threelac and some supplements as a preventive way to avoid relapse. It didn't work.
