I also had an inflammed liver 2 1/2 yrs ago (and that's why I started flushing).
Keep on until you've no passed anything for 3 flushes, you'll know you're getting there when you start passing lots of chaff. Then you can start flushing 1 or twice a year.
Make sure you do nothing to aggravate the condition: do not use ANY pharmaceuticals, first of all.
Avoid any unnecessary chemical exposure, from cosmetics to sprays, cleansers,
food additives , sweeteners,
preservatives and such.
Do not, of course, drink alcohol or coffee.
Adjust your diet, go organic,if possible. Watch what you eat and your reactions to it (keeping a journal helps some people), to see if you have sensetivities or allergic reactions.
Eliminate all sugar, all yeast (switch to sourdough breads), all white flour products, all processed foods, all nightshades,don't use chlorinated
table salt (get some
Sea Salt ).
When the inflammation is very painful, apply a Castor Oil pack (heat), and keep in plce for min 1 hrs to all night. That really helped me: it works.
Drink chammomile and peppermint teas, (if you drink black, make it not too strong). Stay hydrated with quality water.
Do, if you're not already, some bowel cleansing, or at least make sure ypou're regular.
Avoid, as much as possible, stress.
That's all I can think of ... :)
And, be confident, that as you continue with the flushing and detoxyfing your system , the symptoms will lessen, and you'll get well.
