When you add Psyllium and or usually Bentonite as in traditional PB shakes you are no longer doing the Master Cleanse and you have essentially turned the MC into a colon cleanse and you will not be reaping the full reward of how the MC was designed to work. Further because of the highly absortive nature of the Psyllium and the posibility of the Bentonite becoming plaster like in an empty system you are not only absorbing what little nutrition is provided and cleansing components of the MC but also run the risk of really pluging the system even worse. We had a poster a coupla of years back that wound in the hospital plugged up from doing the PB shakes during the MC.
The main mode of how the MC works is by giving the digestive system a rest so the energy otherwise used for digestion is used to cleanse and heal. While the psyllium is mainly inert fiber there is also soluble fiber that will activate digestion and the digestive's system peristaltic action will also be activated to push all that fiber out
People spend a lifetime putting crap in their system and the FACT is you are not going to get it out in one fell swoop. The MC works in a very simple elegant way as designed. More or adding/combining with other cleanses is NOT better. Each cleanse works great on their own when done separately and allowed to function as designed. If it ain't broke DON'T FIX IT. Ground flax is good stuff when not fasting for both it's fiber and omega 3 fatty acids it provides but it is not a good thing when trying to allow the digestive system to rest. The most common tea folks use is Smooth Move which is mostly Senna. For me the stuff gives me cramps from hell if I steep it for the recommended 10 mins. Others do just fine. I did better when I only steeped it for 3 mins but I switched to Yogi tea "Get Regular' which was not only much mellower but I like the taste mo bettah. I still only steep it for only 3 mins too.
What comes out of you depends on many factors including what you had been eating days prior and your eliminations that day. Then also how regular you are in your everyday life. It is not unusual to have nothing but yellow "butt pee" starting from day 2 to 3. Like I said it depends on many factors. On this MC for me since I ate very light the day before and did the lax tea and SWF the night before the 1st day I barely had anything solid the second day and now on my 3rd is all the irridecent yellow butt pee. Bottom line is it'll be what it'll be for >you< and it will be different every MC you do so press on and don't worry about it as long as you have the yellow butt pee you're fine. Worry when nothing at all is coming out.
My morning routine is drink 16 oz of plain water upon awakening to make sure my system is well hydrated and it won't try to retain any of the SWF then 1/2 hr later I do the SWF If by 1hr I've not had even a squirt come out I'll slam at least 16 more oz of plain water if not a whole qt.
