Got my wheat grass information from Ann Wigmore's book "Why Suffer" - one of the most amazing healing stories you'll ever wish to read. Turned my apartment into a grass menagerie, had twenty trays of wheat grass growing all the time and got a Green Power juicer. Long story short, juiced grass (not the kind you smoke) for almost a year, ingested that putrid garbage daily, and reaped no benefits whatsoever.
Found straight - no wheat grass, juice fasting to be highly beneficial though.
Now have a Breville juicer and besides the fact that you don't need to cut up everything into little pieces (the GP bogs down like crazy) it juices much better than the Green Power. Much more juice extracted from carrots or anything else and it's cheaper than most anything else out there in its class. Even Costco sells them.
"The type of juicer you are describing will not extract minerals
properly and will give high sugar. An auger type is better and a press is
optimal."

Thank you for all the great tips. Now I know what went wrong, I always grown my wheat grass in shallow trays. I will follow your suggestions. Colloidal Silver....I never thought of that. Thanks
When you say add effective micro-organisms to the soil, where do you get these?
Again, thank you. I might contact you very soon about sprouting. I have a long road ahead of me....but I am determined to get healthy.
Thank you berrygoji,
I will search online to find some reviews. If you know of any links please let me know. You said you use the welles press, are you satisfied? Would you recommend it?
Again, thank you

I had the Breville JE98XL and liked it a lot. That 850 watt power beats anything else. Don't go for a Breville - or anything else lower than the 850 watts.
Here's a link to Amazon for a better price.

I previously had a much more expensive Green Power at around $500 which I bought for wheat grass. I got tired of the putrid taste of wheat grass and it didn't do anything for me anyway. I had it growing in plastic serving trays all around my apartment and quit using the Green Power - which also wasn't all that great for other juicing and in trying to work problems with the manufacturer within the warranty period was difficult.
That Breville will juice anything much faster than anything else and the pulp was drier than my Green Power - which gear juicers try to tell you is where they have an advantage, they don't.
I quit all juicing when I got Type II because it raises my blood sugar levels too much.
