Mebendazole or metrodiazole? Mebendazole is Vermox which is traditionally used to treat worm infections and not protozoa infections.
Was the second test done by MM?
The protocol for b. hominis is a triple drug cocktail. See badbugs.org. Alinia (nitazoxanide) is not capable of eradicating b. hominis by itself, lumicidal drugs are absolutely necessary such as Furoxone or Dioloxinide Furoate. Typically these are combined with Secnidazole which is a better form of metrodiazole (Flagyl) and another drug.
In reference to why you are getting reinfected, unsanitary water is the primary carrier of protozoa bugs (b. hominis, entamoeba and the unknown protozoa) Spring water could well be the carrier of these, is this a bottled spring water or gathering it fresh? Fresh fruit and vegetables since they are uncooked can harbor
parasites as well. You can prevent this by a) avoiding these b) using a form of sterilization such as a uvb bulb, soaking in h202 and using a wash solution.
Protozoa will change the bowel ecology quite drastically which allows for susceptability of further infections.
MM is the best lab I know of and have seen the results verified.
I think you are going to have to add some colon building supplements such as Colostrum, probiotics, herbals that are gi based such as Digestion from Solaray or TCM (Trad Chinese Med) herbal blends that help with digestion. I would also consider my Vitamin D3 status (immunity) and vitamin A status as it is involved in mucuous membrane health (colon). Some other suggestions is the product from Nature's Plus called Alive (rice and pea protein) and a green product mix such as Superior Greens from Vermont Sciences. These should provide some nutrition to help support the body during the stress responses (immune).
