Exactly! And well said.
I wonder if iodine, selenium and vitamin D3 prevent or cure trauma? They sure as heck prevent breast cancer.
All the best,

we'll have to begin at the beginning...

A study by researchers from the University of Nebraska and the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Ill found that 2,970 women must be screened for breast cancer in order to prevent even one death.
JAMA recently published an anaylysis that concluded that over-screening of breast cancer was causing more harm than good because it lead to labeling innocuous tumors cancer and treating them as though they could be lethal when they are in fact not dangerous.
In 2001, a study known as the Cochrane analysis found that if 2,000 women underwent regular screening for 10 years, one life would be saved but another 10 women would undergo unnecessary treatment such as surgery or radiation.
I would say that the answer is "Yes", breast cancer is absolutely being over-diagnosed.

We've danced to this tune before and it is not one that strikes a chord with me. I totally disagree with the idea of any form of cancer or other illness being solely due to trauma or stress. Certainly trauma, stress and mental attitude can contribute to illness just as they can prevent and retard recovery if not properly addressed and aid healing and recovery if they are addressed, but the whole idea of trauma being a universal cause of cancer is little more than any other number of single-causes that have been presented to sell books and therapies.
We ALL experience trauma and stress in our lives, thus it is easy to say that trauma could be a cause of cancer or anything else because it is alway present at one time or another. By the same token you could say that trauma causes us to sneeze or get diarrhea. How about childhood cancers? Was it the trauma of birth? Or trauma the mother suffered? And since man has had trauma throughout history, why is it that cancer is by and large a modern disease? While trauma has always been present, what has not been present to nearly as high an extent? Exposure to toxins and radiation, including mainstream vaccinations and other drugs, that's what.
Cancer is most often caused in undernourished bodies with impaired immune systems and livers due to prolonged inflammation, usually due to exposure to a toxin or some other prolonged irritant, and also due to less lengthy terms of exposure to carcinogens. As a result, the cells began a pleomorphic progression that sends them into a protective mode, creating a protective layer to disguise them from the body's immune system, changing DNA/RNA messages that result in pleomorphic changes that result in altered respiration as well as refusal to die via regular programmed cellular death, the presence of fungal prorties and ultimately morphing to included a viral element that results in the spread of cancer.
File stress in the same catch-all basket as other single-theory cancer causes and cures, such as all cancer being due to mysterious flukes, all cancer being a fungus, all cancer being caused by viruses and all cancer being an overall body response that attempts to save the host. I don't buy any of them.
