LONG POST
I started to feel ill around June of 2007 , if you have ever been drunk and had that spaced out feeling in your head this is what i have felt 24 hours a day since that time.
I went through a bunch of tests which came back normal , blood glucose , cat scans , iron , b12 , MRI , electro dermal screening... i could go on.I probably spent about 8-9,000 in my quest to get well. There is a massive industry that will suck you in , grab all your money and then spit you out , you feeling exactly the same but with less money in your pocket.
In October 2008 i had a test done called liver detoxification profile , it showed a reduction in glutathione detoxification pathway. In August 2009 i went to another naturopath and he prescribed me some l-glutamine for this. After about 6 weeks on this i started to become extremely ill towards carbohydrates and by a few days ago i was reacting to most foods.

states glutamine is already abundant in people with prediabetes they just cannot use it , this is why the liver pathway is busted so supplementing with the stuff was just overkill.
I went through about 4-5 doctors but was never checked for insulin levels , only blood glucose which always turned out normal.I advise everyone having similar issues like
food intolerances , fatigue , brain fog to get the insulin levels checked.
Today i felt better than yesterday , i have been eating legumes , salads and a small amount of pepitas and walnuts along with fish oil.I have bought some buckwheat and am looking for other things to help reverse diabetes along with doing regular exercise.I am avoiding red meats , animal fats and omega 6 in general , no fruits right now and no grains except for barley and buckwheat.
I have been looking for a good chromium source but can only find picolinate. My supplements right now include magnesium , barleygrass powder and the fish oil.
In a way i am blessed because i know the cause of my condition and know when it is improving (the brain fog will subside). Can anyone else give me some tips on defeating this metabolic illness?
