Uny this is a picture of my husbands hand. It isn't very clear but he has a spot he said has been there for a couple of years and its now tender. It is the lighter of the spots in front of the middle finger towards the knuckle and looks kind of pinkish in color in the picture but more white in person, while the darker spots are all over.
I'm not liking the looks of the darker spots which could be skin cancer. He is a builder and out in the sun daily for his whole adult life. I found this post where you talk about using a garlic poultice for skin problems.
curezone.com/forums/fm.asp Is this what I should be doing about this? If so I'll order some Slippery Elm. Sorry about the HUGE size of the picture but you couldn't see anything in the smaller one lol.
Google images - malignant melanoma. I had done that too before I posted and it didn't look like anything he's got on his hand thank God, that is some dangerous looking stuff!

(I don't see anything that looks like those :) Me neither :)
The largest brown one (top) looks like a 'liver spot' to me - the pinkish one looks like a mole (that's growing/morphing). Goodness, never thought of that but I should have remembered because my grandmother had those. I guess the thing is I can't think of either one of us being of an age that we would get the dreaded "liver spot" LOL. We both still feel so young.
Sunshine doesn't cause cancer - that's a lie of the PTB. Well of all things, I should have thought of that little gem first! The truth of the matter is I never even considered it but now that you say it I know its truth!
Lugol's iodine is great for removing moles (of all kinds)...it's easier than garlic. Just put a few drops on a bandaid, refresh it every day (for maybe like 3 days) and it should start "shriveling up & dying". You could ask the folks on VWT forum - they might have a specific 'protocol' nowadays. I've got that iodine that I mixed with EVCO and slathered all over my bod for a tan. I'm sure that will work but if not I'll order some Lugol's. You're right that sounds much easier and less painful and stinky too.
Me don't see no steeenking cancer :o) ...Me don't wanna see no steeenking cancer! but I'm a FAR ways from being an oncologist! No you're not and thats another thing we can all be thankful for, you're so much better than an oncologist because you know how to actually help someone HEAL! ( :o) again! ) ;))
Blessings, Mucho gratitude and blessings.

Here is a link to a page from the iodine support forum, where you can order it. I haven't ordered from any of these places but the jcrows.com is well known.
Last year I removed two large moles from my face using ACV. Very easy. Similar procedure as for the Lugol's.
They were raised moles. One about 5mm and one about 3mm. Both were on my chin, but the bigger one was right on my jawline/ profile & always bothered me. Very noticeable.
Before the first ACV treatment (i did them individually -- not at the same time) I scratched the surface a bit w/ a sterilized pin.
I used those little round beige bandaids & trimmed them down... Put a drop of ACV on a tiny piece of cotton, and then put the bandaid over that. Changed it morning and night.
At first it was sore & would sting w/ the ACV. Then it got a little pussy; then that cleared up. Then started shriveling & turning black (the mole tissue itself). Then it fell off! It's the darndest thing.
The skin around the mole did get irritated and red, too. I tried to concentrate the ACV directly on the mole & avoid the surrounding skin.
Even after the mole came off, I continued covering the spot w/ the bandaid & kept the wound covered with neosporin. I think the whole process took 2-3 weeks for each mole.
The weird thing is, the ACV seemed to affect the mole tissue differently than the surrounding skin. Isn't that weird?
Amazingly, neither removal left a noticeable scar. I can tell where the large one was, but no one else can, even when i point it out!
I think a secret to not having much scar is to keep the wound covered until it is completely healed. You want it to heal from beneath -- not from the top.

Thank you Bundles for sharing that with us. Its always good to hear testimonies. I think I'm going to try this because I'd have to order the Lugol's. I've got another brand iodine but don't know if that would work or not.
I've got a mole on my leg thats been there for as long as I can remember so I'm going to use the ACV on that. I'll post when it falls off and when my husbands hand clears up.
It always amazes me when I learn to use something so simple for a problem that a lot of people run to the doctor for.
When we were kids my brother and I both had warts. He had a couple on one of his hands, my mom took him to the doctor and had them burned off which was very painful for him. A couple of years later I got some on a couple fingers on my right hand but by then my mother had heard about a natural remedy. We sliced a raw potato and rubbed the juice of it on the warts several times a day, each time slicing off a new slice. In a little under two weeks the warts were gone. Now they've got medicine you can buy in the store that dissolves them but why spend that money and use those chemicals when all you need is a cheap natural potato?
Thanks again.
Willow
Potatoes?! That's amazing too...
Here's where I read about mole removal with ACV. They also talk about using garlic and iodine, so I guess all three of these would work, but it looks like ACV is the most popular. (easier to get & less smelly? 8-) )
By the way, I used Bragg's apple cider vinegar. Use Bragg's or any brand w/ the "mother".
Many people said they put Vaseline around the mole to protect surrounding skin from the effects of the ACV. I couldn't do that with the tiny bandages I used on my face... just did the best I could. If you're using a large bandage, I would do that.
I was pretty brave (or maybe dumb!) to try this for the first time on the biggest mole on my face! Haha... I thought even if it scarred it would be better than that yucky mole w/ the one dark hair growing out of it. (eww)
I have more raised moles on my face i'd like to remove, but just haven't bothered.
For some reason i'm a little reluctant to try it on any flat, non-raised mole. (I have a lot of moles!) Not sure why, if it's something I read, or maybe the idea of the ACV making the mole eventaully "fall off.".... Does that make sense?
Main thing is, keep it sealed tight with a bandage -- keep air off of it to prevent scarring as much as possible.
There's my two-mole two-cents worth of advice.
