Someone posted this as evidence that calcium hydroxide must be safe. If they would have bothered to do their homework then they would have found that a lot of the ingredients in this formula are considered toxic, including copper sulfate. These ingredients are added not because they are nutritious, but because they are cheap:

I guess these same people also think the mercury in vaccines given to infants is also safe and even nutritious since it is also given to infants. Do people bother using their brains anymore?!!!
Just like the baby bottled water with added fluoride.
Yes, another great example. And here are some others:

Formula for disaster
"According to the American Academy of Pediatrics' most recent member survey, a majority of baby doctors see slightly more formula-fed babies than breast-fed babies admitted to the hospital for instances of malnutrition and failure to thrive. But this represents only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the differences in rates of morbidity and mortality between formula-

"What's the Difference Between Breastmilk and Formula?
Why breastfeed? Why not is the better question. This page was written in the interest of supporting and promoting breastfeeding for all moms and babies. UNICEF states that 1 million babies die each year as a result of being fed artificial formula"
This is just some of the information available on the dangers of infant formula. Yet these people think it is OK to make a joke out of the issue of babies being injured and dying. Just goes to show how sick and depraved they are and how little regard they have for human life.
There was NO QUESTION that I would breast-feed my own babies who also did not/do not have my physicality. I cringe when I see babies with bottles.
I am glad to hear you breast fed. That is important for so many reasons. Pair bonding and additional flora introduction for starters. And the milk changes with the babies growth to meet their demands. The first milk is antibody rich to support immunity. Then the fat levels increase to develop the nervous system. Then the protein content increases to build muscle. Then finally the mineral content increases to help with bone development. Cows milk and formula cannot do this.
As far as I am concerned I think formula should only be allowed by prescription so that it is only used in rare circumstances. For example I was allergic to both mother's milk and cow's milk as an infant. So my mother had no choice but to raise me on soy formula. Luckily I outgrew all my allergies by the age of 5 and have never had a problem since.
