Anne -
It is OH-so-typical to feel EXTREMELY tired the day after a liver flush. That's a LOT of oil for your body to process. You have the SYL manual, or the chapter from it on Liver Cleansing, right? If not, here it is: Yep I got it and have read over it several times...
http://curezone.com/upload/_N_Forums/Natural_Heali/SYL_CleansingTheLiver_Sect...
...from the above:
>>>The only downside I’ve ever seen to it is, of course, it makes you feel quite sluggish because you're consuming a lot of oil that your body has to process.<<<
SO, now we know you're normal :) :) :) Well I don't know about normal ..lol
When feeling gassy, urpy & nauseated the day after - it's almost always because you got a ton of toxic junk sitting around in your intestinal tract that just dumped out of the liver. Get it out and you WILL feel better. Drank me some yerba mate tea and energy has come back some... ate me a baked tater with butter and garlic pepper salt also as I was really hungry .that seems to have stuff stirring round in the ole liver there but I do feel better than I did.. I
Do another CE - (hopefully the IF#1 will kick in soon...maybe take a couple more?) - but the best way is to just move everything on down & out with another CE. (I know, I know, you do them on the couch and people are around...so do it in the bathtub instead). Outta SA wilsons coffee but I do have some organic . bum is still a little sore from the time it bled..I must have irritated it pretty bady ..don't wanna rip it again thats for sure....tryin to let it heal some .. bathtub you say? there is no way I could get anything done in my small tub >>LOL>>...
If you were dealing with a true "liver clog", you'd be posting from a laptop in the ER. GLad we cleared that up ..thanks (grin) you know me I get a little paranoid when I don't think things are going right ...big grin
Anne, I did a flush a few days ago and had a PHENOMENALLY MISERABLE day the 'day after'. I got out almost FOUR CUPS of biliary SLUDGE and virtually no stones...I did 2 CE's during the day (after I'd gotten most everything out), and then a back-to-back set before I went to bed. My emotions & spirit (and energy) were flatter than flat. No, that's not right, they weren't flat, they were "negative flat"...and the next day I was still a wee bit tired, but me n' my liver felt SO much better. I know ..I haven't gotten any stones out that I know of but first bm was full of mushy sludge /oil or whatever it was...and well that was it.. and energy was at the bottom ..I literally didn't wanna get off the couch at all... My nose also stopped up on me last night and I woke up with a sore throat this morning from snoring all night I assume...ugh..
Progress is a PROCESS. The healing pathway is filled with potholes and bumps in the road. All we're looking for is that steady upward trend - it's ALWAYS going to have a few 'dips n' dives'. Your "trend" has been SO upward and steady...you've worked hard and gotten a HUGE relief from some serious pain. Liver flushing is 'hard work' for the body - it's okay if it's tired and sluggish after such a cleansing work-out (ESPECIALLY when the liver is weak and clogged to start with). YES. YES !! I am outta pain for the most part..I stll feel things going on in the liver area and I do have discomfort every now and then but for the most part I haven't had pain to mention about for quite a few days now.. YAY !!
Attention EVERYBODY! NO FLUSH IS EVER THE SAME! The liver is ALWAYS in a different condition from the flush before when you start the next flush. And remember, the liver is the seat of the emotions - one can have exuberant feelings the days after a flush, or release emotional junk that'll slam you into the couch. It's all part of the healing...and thank heaven our bodies CAN heal after the decades of abuse they've suffered through. AMEN !!
'Just stay on the healing pathway, gal - you WILL get where you're going!!! (I promise :) Thanks again for helping me through ..I just need reassurance sometimes and need to know why when I get symptoms like that.... I am afraid something terrible is going to happen and I am not going to be able to get ahold of you in an emergency thats all. I am a big whiney baby I guess but I know as I do more and more that will soon fade.. just bear with me ok? I also know my body is all screwed up and that anything can happen when it comes to me.. I am staying positve and pushing forward to do what it takes though. gotta start somewhere though huh?
THanks again
Love and hugs Anne_33
Hey cosmic cowboys and girls,
I just want to remind everybody here that Anne is a "special needs case." She has openly shared her medical history. She's got severe anxiety issues, is weaning herself off some whopper anti-anxiety meds, lives in a generally non-supportive environment, has multiple food and other allergies, AND IS KICKIN' REAR.
Now, I want to tell y'all (all of us), that every single one of us on the Incurables Program is a "special needs case." There is a general "blanket" IP protocol, and then there are specific programs geared to assisting the body in healing target areas. There can be quite a bit of confusion when we read these posters' stories if we aren't careful to understand that everybody's situation is different.
For instance, one of my SPECIFIC protocols is drinking a therapeutic dose of organic brewed coffee for nerve stimulation, because I am healing myself from a neurological disease. One of my specific target herbs is kola nut in a nerve restorative tincture. I could probably experiment with raw cacao (chocolate) as an adjunct. You might think "lucky me." Well, remember what I'm dealing with. If you come along, read my progress reports, and find out I'm drinking coffee on the IP, you might be tempted to think "Woohoo! We get to keep our coffee? Where do I sign up?" The truth is, NOBODY on the IP drinks coffee EXCEPT for the neurological disease "patients."
One of the ways to kick the coffee habit is to switch to Yerba Mate. But Yerba Mate is still loaded with caffeine, and is NOT on the Incurables Program Happy List. Some of us can quit coffee cold turkey. I've done it several times, and endured those three day migraines, jitters, and screaming fits the medical literature describes as "irritability." My kids begged me to get back ON coffee! But people like Anne, with her body chemistry going haywire, couldn't handle coming off caffeine that fast. Uny knows what she's doing, but we, in general, really don't. I just don't want you to read somebody else's post and think "Yippee! I get to do what I want!" Well, you CAN do what you want, or you can get well.
On to Anne's post:
thanks Uny !! and everyone else.. I am glad something came of me..LOL>>YAY!! It was black (thanks to charcoal I am assuming ) sludgy and icky looking ..IF#2 doing its job. GREAT!
I am feeling good now !! that yerba mate tea I drink is the bomb ..it really makes me feel better too...and so loaded with vits and minerals which I feel I need ..I am so glad you're feeling good. The difference in your posts when things are "flowing" for you and when they aren't are like night and day. You're a winner, girlfriend! BUT.... forum folk- this is Anne's gig and not yours, K?
I chose to get that oil/citrus down me quicker last night too... it seems easier that way..and even though I felt like total crap this morning I did get better and this afternoon I had been in there cleaning out my kitchen drawers and organizing stuff....Hot diggity! Look at you go! It all works together- when I get myself cleaned out, I notice my messy surroundings and start getting my environment in order, too! And yeah, MANY of us feel sluggish (like crap) after taking in a lot of oil. VERY normal, and VERY cool that your body handled it quickly and hopped right back with a "thank you" energy burst! YAY!
ate me a small portion of pinto beans with a tiny peice of cornbread.(am I in trouble now UNY?) LOL.Oh, man, Southern girl to Southern girl, you are talkin' my language! But ruh roh rastro, you and I both know this isn't on the menu until you are ALL THE WAY WELL. We get fresh juices with lots of Superfood, our Superhero(ine) smoothies, and 100% raw vegan food of the gods and that's it. Makes it simple. I have just not really been hungry at all. I do have spells when I am starving or so it seems and we are feeding the warrior, not our fleshly appetites, right? but other than that I try to limit any cooked food to one meal a day and a tiny one at that. This is a great lifestyle change for you, Anne, and I'm proud of you. Keep moving to 100% raw. You will be AMAZED. You won't believe it till you do it. i drink my juice and my yerba mate tea though and water of course...sure will be glad when the weight starts dropping off of me again..I think Wings may be a cuckoo... 100% raw plus movement and exercise, plus the rest of the program will help you safely lose weight. I am fluctuating between 25-30 pounds of my goal weight now, and when I touched that 25 pound mark, I was so excited, because I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. You can do it, Anne. You're a femme fatale. think I am gonna cut out all sweeteners again cept for stevia to lose weight as that seems to be the only thing that works for me.. I am still retaining water which only seems to go away when I leave off sweeteners ..my body must be really sensitive to that stuff among others still...ugh..Look at you listening to your "doctor within!" Ya know, parasites like sweets, and so does cancer, for that matter. If we don't feed our parasites, they put the house up for sale and move out of the neighborhood... I love me some maple syrup in my yerba mate tea organic, I hope and also raw honey too.I really hate to see em go but I guess its got to be for a while... aaaaaaahhhh... Do you have a body image in mind that you could shoot for? Like when Tierra asked me if I had a yoga body... I was like "I'll take that!"
YEs uny I have tried parsley ! (grin)
when I take the echanacia/garlic/cayenne in juice (daily dose) I have to pee more often though.. Yup, you do.
oh yeah gotta tell a story on that one.. me and Dad were on our way back from Tampa and he had a festering sore on his toe that looked really bad ..since he is diabetic he said he didnt feel it..awww it looked like the toenail was about to come off and its was purple and blue and red etc.. he said he had stumped it on something and it was oozing out .. well I gave him a dose of the echanacia/cayenne I had with me we had to stop so he could go pee quite often for a while after that.(he didnt like that and didn't want another dose). anyways he got home and wrapped it up with antibiotic ointment and took the wellness formula which has cayenne/garlic in it and his toe has recovered ..even though he will probably lose his nail it is going to get better.. He didn't seem too concerned about it but I was !!only thing he was concerned about was that it was oozing out and getting his sock wet!! LOL EYE-ROLL .. Thats my DAD..oh my Lord ..
I would like to think that dose of echanacia/cayenne helped jump start the healing on that toe of his and I have no doubt that if he had taken it round the clock that it would have healed up mighty fast....and possibly a charcoal poultice thrown in there too would have been even better..or even garlic!!
Peace Anne_33 Isn't peace WONDERFUL?
Love ya girl- you're doing great!

It's the BEST thing you can do for your dad. yeah and he actually said for me to get him what he needs and he will pay me and start taking it.. only problem is he is on a lot of meds.. plavix-blood thinner, cozaar for bp,prozac for depression, byetta shot for diabetes, cinnamon and chromium for blood sugar control...nexium for stomach., oxycontin 40mg 2x day, percocet 10/500 4x day ,methadone 4times day for pain. xanax as needed..grrrrrr..he doesn't have any probs with taking it like that..!!! I know he takes more meds than that but not sure what they are ... he's had 17 polyps removed last year ,he has a blockage in his neck and one behind his heart , he is 6'4' and weighs now almost 300lbs with most of his weight in his belly like me..ggggggrrrrr.... he does not know what good for you food is..he loves greens/beans cooked in lard and says if you take the fat outta food it just ain't worth eating.. his idea of cutting back on eating is he will skip a meal..ggggrr...he is a stubborn mule I tell ya but I do think I am getting through somewhat to him or he wouldn't have said what he did about me getting what he needs and he would take it... first thing I wanna know is is it safe to take the garlic/cayenne since he is on the plavix (blood thinner)? I dont want to give him a natural blood thinner and it be counterproductive.. I know at least the garlic would help clean out his arteries unlike the plavix... any ideas UNY? he is 68 yrs old too. and he has to take the pain pills cause of all the back/neck issues he has.... would really like to help him but don't know really where to start.. sigh.
Hugs - HUGS back at ya

NEVER trust ANYTHING you read from someone selling what you're thinking about putting in your body. Yerba Mate has a high caffeine level, and caffein decreases B vitamins. 'Just keep an eye on it...if you keep feeling like you're needing more B vitamins and you keep drinking Yerba Mate, that might be an issue.
--are you in trouble for eating pinto beans and cornbread? :::grin::: your body will let you know . got to be picky what I put in my mouth thats for sure but the beans did alright for me.. grin.
You're getting a good handle on your diet these days...just don't start 'slipping back down the mountain' - it's really REALLY frustrating to keep climing back up to 'wear you were before' instead of moving ahead.

You need (at the minimum) a 5 day kidney flush here:
http://marketplaceadvisor.channeladvisor.com/StoreFrontProfiles/DeluxeSFItemD...
OR if you wanna save a bit of money, get the 10 day package:
http://marketplaceadvisor.channeladvisor.com/StoreFrontProfiles/DeluxeSFItemD...
(you will have to do at least 2 five-day cleanses. They're easy (just make tea, drink 4-6 cups daily and squirt tincture in it - start the day with lemon/lime/water/cayenne/honey/maple syrup drink). Here's the instructions: http://curezone.com/schulze/herbal_5day_kidney_cleanse.asp
(there's more details in your SYL manual). You need to get on this as soon as you can - you WILL get some level of the relief from the swelling, for sure :)
'Sorry gal, but I don't have time to fill out all the paperwork for everybody anymore.

:::big heavy sigh::: Of course, we could get him off ALL of them and onto herbs...IF he would do it. By now he's likely seriously addicted to the pain killers, the Prozac would require at least a 6 week "wean" (and could be replaced with St. Johns, but St. John's makes the liver work better, and cause the blood level of some meds to drop). If he's willing you can easily ditch the blood thinner by taking red clover & ginkgo tinctures (and ginkgo is very good for cleaning out arteries!). To do the "meds for herbs" switch, one starts taking the herbs in low dose and starts cutting the med in low dose. If he's willing to give it a try, I'd start him with the garlic/cayenne (which is just all around fantastic for everything), and get him 4oz of Red Clover and 4 oz of Ginkgo...that'll likely have him off the plavix and lowering (or off) his bp med (and maybe lowering his diabetes med) in 30 days. 'Ain't likely you can do much to change his diet at this point, but anytime you can replace a drug with an herb, it'll help save his poor liver. With all those pain meds (destroy the liver) and everything else that's he's doing, he's walking straight toward a cancer diagnsosis :( :( :( Every lil' bit helps! :)
Big blessings -
Unyquity
