This is not a bad protocol.
Most of the citrus compounds are considered water soluable and therefor do not have as much
Liver Cleansing abilities as fat soluable cleansers.
By combining these substances in a blender and then emulsifying the oils into the water, you may convert these water soluable properties into fat soluable properties.
Flavenoids can attach to just about anything.
The peel of the lemon and lime, also grapefruit contain very potent phytonutrients and flavenoids. The flavenoid are reported to have much longer half life than other antioxidants such as green tea. They actually make peel extracts just for cancer patients.
Don't be afraid the froth up the peels.
Also, you can use coconut oil instead of olive oil and this provides a much better taste. In fact, coconut oil all by itself is considered a multi use treatment for various diseases such as viral, autoimmune, and cancer.
Lastly, if you purchase combed honey, use this as a sweetener. Do not use process, filtered, heated, honey. Use organic with combs, The darker the better. This honey contains polyphenols, tannins, and more. Blend it with the other ingredients.
The cleanse is not toxic nor is it fasting. You can make this recipe a daily lifestyle choice but only if you can tolerate the taste.
Also, don't be afraid to add ice water to your drink and dilute it down a bit, you will have a bigger drink but it wont taste as strong. Besides, additional water is in itself cleansing and when cleansing is in fact your goal, water should be a term that never gets omitted, always gets emphasized as part of the protocol.
Other ways to give your liver a break:
Chlorophyll binds to heavy metals like lead and mercury. Also binds to pesticides and petrolium distillates. It has been proven to prevent the induction of cancer in lab. animals who were given carcinogens but did not develope cancer.
Activated charcoal taken orally will absorb many of the toxins your liver must breakdown. Do not consume activated charcoal with alternative substances and treatments as it may absorb the good stuff along with the bad stuff.
If taking activated charcoal don't forget to increase your intake of water.
Good to hear from you.
