Taking Tinctures w/ water?

Can the tinctures be taken with water?
For example the cayenne tinc with a little tiny glass of water - adding the tincture to it then drink it down?
I'm also taking 8 other tinctures: Adrenal, Glanduar, Female, Nervine, Hawthorn Berry, Black-Walnut and now the liver and blood detox tinc.
Again same question as above can these too be taken in a little water?

This is a reply to # 1,393,947ABSOLUTELY! I always take the cayenne tincture in a 'gulps worth' of water (Rocky53 uses juice/cider)...and all tinctures CAN be taken with water or juice.
Sometimes with the liver tincture, I take it 'straight', because I want my tongue to get the full effect of the bitter herbs (as the bitterness is what stimulates the liver). But, for most, it's PLENTY bitter even if it's diluted by water/juice.
That Blood-Detox tincture is THE 'strongest' tincture I've ever made or tasted. I can't imagine taking that one without some water to dilute it!
