I have hypothyroid - and a history of serious cystic acne. A year ago I began my journey: bowel cleansing,
parasite cleanse, eating healthier, juicing, etc. I finally did my first
Liver Flush a little while back. Thrilled to say my
Acne has improved 90% from a year ago!! I used to take armour thyroid (30-60mg) and I just stopped before my
Liver Flush (2months ago). I am hesitant to start taking it again, but I am very sluggish and have a heavy load of stress due to a son with some autistic/add/anxiety issues (which I am full-time trying to heal in addition to myself). Anyhow, I've been meaning to do my 2nd flush but have been sick - hopefully will work out after Easter weekend.
About a week after my 2nd flush, I am planning to do a master cleanse for 10 days (my first - I am fairly thin so I'm not sure I can go much longer than that), and then
Liver Flush again. I thought after that I could start some
Iodine supp.
How much should I start with? One of the things about all this is all the supplementation that seems to be recommended. Not just a financial concern, but I don't want to take a ton of supplements (but I do realize some are very necessary) b/c I believe it can be hard on the liver.
So what really should you be taking?
In the meantime, I have very little
Iodine intake for quite sometime. I've switched from iodized salt to
Sea Salt , and I am afraid that I am further depleting myself of iodine. So, if you're not "detoxing" with iodine, what is the recommended amount to have daily? for an adult? for a child? I don't want my son to have regular iodized salt either (due to aluminum) but I also want to make sure he is getting enough
Iodine (and he certainly isn't in his food).
I appreciate any help - I just feel so overwhelmed a lot of the time with all of this stuff.
I should mention that I am trying to get myself as healthy as I can in order for a second pregnancy. Not sure when I'll really feel I am healthy enough for that, but I would really rather not have to take armour thyroid while pregnant.
Thanks.
