LOL. Nope, the guy in the photo is Reggie Bush. He is a professional football player (running back) for the New Orleans Saints in the NFL. I have his photo up because...well because he's gorgeous.
I'm 23 years old. I'm female. I am 5'5 and I weight 159lbs This is down 40lbs (199lbs) as of May last year. I lost ten
pounds over the summer and got as of December 2008 I was down to 186lbs. I had become a vegetarian in October and mistakenly thought the weight would fall off. NOPE. It wasn't until I started counting calories that the weight started really coming off. It just comes off in weird stages. Like, I will lose 7 lbs in a week and a half and then NOTHING for two weeks. I mean, from a psychological standpoint, the weeks that I drop a lot of weight are great...the weeks that I don't are discouraging so I wish it would come off more evenly.
Back to the fast: The only beverage I drink is water. No other drinks at all...I'm lactose intolerant so not even milk. Anyway, I drink tons of water and use the bathroom all the time so I don't think I am dehydrated. I do think you are RIGHT about the length of time. I think maybe my fast might not have been long enough and after my experiment with IF I may consider doing a longer fast to see. THANK you for the information, it was very helpful!
