Joining you at Day 16 on my orange juice fast. Ironically for the past 5 days I too have not reduced in weight. I only have about 15-20 lbs.
excess but like you in many other fasts I reduced more quickly.
Here are some things I've considered as to why:
It's Winter and depending where you live this could affect holding weight for warmth.
Are you male or female? If you are female your M cycle could be approaching and that will hold water weight.
Or perhaps you are not moving as much this time around and your metabolism is slower. Daily walks or at least 20 minutes of rapid movement are helpful while fasting.
I have only done juice fasting because Water Fasting
in my opinion is rather extreme unless you have previously done major detoxing. Even after doing at least 12 Liver Flushes
and over a decade of fasting water still seems intense.
The thing I would be concerned about is having an elimination daily. This can be achieved many ways take Lower Bowel Balance, Smooth Move tea in the evening or Epsom Salt
in water. All of these methods work fine and are healthier than daily enemas.
