I am looking for some guidance in regards to
Iodine use.
My personal situation is pretty complicated so I won't go into all the details now, but I started taking 50mg Iodoral this past late spring or early summer. Initially I had some good effects....the most noticeable was a lot less soreness after a moderate weight workout or other exercise.....this was very exciting
Sometime in early july i started taking vita D. At first improved bowels....not loose... and my knee pain got a lot better. About two weeks later started feeling like I was getting sick but I didn't. Stopped the Vita D and then got better.
I was taking 5000IU/day. knee pain came back so I tried taking a smaller dosage. Still had immune stuff show up. so I stopped it.
In late August on a cool morning here in Colorado I got up and got chilled and it took me hours to warm up. I just figured that my condition was getting worse.
In early September I felt like I was starting to get sick...did some herbal things to manage it but then I stopped taking the iodoral and felt quite a bit better almost immediately and I felt warmer. After that even taking small dosages of Iodoral brought on the immune stuff.....very similar to the Vita D experience.
Now I have not taken
Iodine for almost two months or longer and I still feel on the edge of getting sick.....
Am I in the middle of a bromide detox that I need to go through?
Am I in the middle of a Thyroid slow down that I need to go through?
I have severe
food allergies so taking all the support supplements is very difficult for me. If I take more than 50 mg of Mag a day I get loose stools, taking Calcium makes me really stiff and tight,
I seem to be having difficulty getting clear on how much Se I should be taking after reading several of the posts here.
I do the salt flushes for sure....even now and they seem to help.
Vita C seems to give me loose stools pretty easily too.
I have been thinking I should contact Brownstien and see if he will take me on as a long distance client.
I am a bodyworker and since I have saw Brownstien talk in May I have been selling
Iodine test kits to clients and many are noticing nice changes from the Iodine supplementation. So I get how helpful it can be.......
Anyway, any ideas, thoughts or directions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
