Paint Lady
I've posted about this before but not in as much detail.
My first flush passed a huge amount of junk. Everything from the green globs that float to the stuff that sinks. I was more squeemish during my first flush so I didn't check to see how solid any of them were so I can't tell you if they were calcified or hard as a rock or anything. A few of them had what looked like a
parasite sticking out of them.
I read all the recipies and did a combination of what I noticed they all had in common. Or what I thought I could handle. I used the
Epsom Salts with ice-water as in the Dr Clark recipie. I didn't think anything with salt in the name of it could be that bad. But I thought that the more the better so I tried to take 2 cups of oil. What a laugh. After one and a half cups it was sloshing around inside of me and there was no way I could take more. I was also taking drinks of the oil followed by the lemon juice, not mixed. Oh my gosh was it awful!!! By the time I had a cup and a fourth in I was gaging on the oil and I don't gag easily. Between that and the sloshing I was convinced that I would throw up if I tried to take more and that my stomach wasn't large enough for that much liquid. I went to sleep rather uncomfortable but slept for about 4 hours when I woke up thinking I had given myself food poisoning or that something had gone wrong. I was actually haveing a blood
Sugar drop but it had been so long since I had one and I had never had one in the middle of the night so I didn't recognise it till my third flush. Shortly after that my liver contracted, sending the oil back up into my stomach and I threw up. I started feeling a little better and fell back asleep till the next morning. I believe I took 1 Tb.
Epsom Salts the next morning. Had diarhea all week and swore to never take that much
Epsom Salts again. I was worn out all week which I think was from having diarhea.
Despite all the discomfort of my first flush I consider it a success as it was the first relief I had ever had from sinus headaches, backaches and shoulder pains. The relief only lasted one week with the first flush but it has lasted over two weeks since my third. And really one nights discomfort was a small price to pay for the dividends.
I wouldn't do it the way I did the first time. I would do the Dr. Clark method only with grapefruit instead of lemon. Especially for a first flush. I have also switched to mag citrate instead of the epsom salts.
I hope this is helpful. You might want to read through the archives for other first time flush testimonies.
Take care,
Lisa
