After all my endless kidney troubles the doctors finally found some protein and white blood cells in my urine. I guess this means I do have a kidney infection afterall. Sorry to be blunt but I am pooping my pants incase I have to take Antibiotics ....they will set me right back to square one and further. It would be the worst thing I could do but the Cranberry just isnt working. I have done a week almost of cranberry and today they found the protein and white blood cells. I have this supplement here by Solgar....its called Uva Ursi & Juniper Formula (also contains parsley, buchu leaf and barberry. I phoned Solgar who said they cannot recommend supplements for kidney infections. Is it worth trying? Is it strong enough do you think? I cant think of anything else to do. I pray I dont need Antibiotics . I feel so poorly with it too. I noticed today my fingernails have gone yellow...I dont know if this is a sign of kidney problems or not. The doctor is going to run some kidney blood tests as well. Any suggestions are appreciated.- Re: Now What Do I Do? natalia88

This is a reply to # 1,258,822i think candida is affecting your organs and i seriouly think u need to find a good practioner not a doctor help u ive noticed u been around here for years i think if your not getting better just worse u need proper tests to find out why mybe u have bad parastites to they can do just as much damage and more than candida be careful the supplements u take i just dont think its necessary to take lots of supplements i think they can do more harm than good i took cranberry juice unsweetned twice a day and it saved my life and stopped me taking antibitics continsly i really think u need good guidance u have been suffering far to long and just going round in circles

Dont be too afraid of the anti-biotics they may be enough to wipe out some of the infection to give your body abit of a boost. Or it could go the other way aswell.
I couldnt care about tests anymore for parasites im looking for the cures and they all look to strong anti-helmtics, anti-biotics for the marshall protocol etc.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,258,842how can u look for cures if u are unsure whats wrong with you???tests are the only way to find out then you treat it with the cure and i agree ladywear they will help u but it could come back and u dont want to get into the cycle i was in it kept coming back so they sent it away and found out i needed a specific antibitic but i had already strted drinking unsweetned cranberry juice and it started easing and slowly getting better scarface i like u but sumtimes u think u have all the answers and u dont otherwise u would be better and so would everyone esle

This is a reply to # 1,258,842Scarface - problem is I have overgrowth of bacteria AND yeast - the Antibiotics I have taken in the past have cleared some of the bacteria (massive herxing) but increased the candida which then creates the vicious circle. Dare not try the Antibiotics again after last time....they just set me back so far. What about something herbal? What do you think?

This is a reply to # 1,258,856Yes Natalie the doctor found white blood cells and protein in my urine so she said that indicates an infection but I have to wee into this special tube now and she will send it away to the hospital to see what specific bacteria I have. She just told me to drink lots of water and keep taking the cranberry - but I have been using it for a week and its not cleared the infection.- Re: Now What Do I Do? natalia88

This is a reply to # 1,258,830I did get better for quite a while but relapsed again earlier this year after all the stress. Yes I think the candida is affecting my organs also - liver, kidneys, adrenals but its finding someone who understands enough. There isnt anyone in my area thats the trouble and I am not well enough to travel down south (where most of the good practioners seem to be). There is a Dr Myhill who is not too far from me (I have seen her before) but she wanted to give me prescriiption antifungals like sporanox which worried me because of my liver. If anyone knows anyone in the north of UK I am open to suggestions (although I dont think I am bothered over trying homeopathy). I wonder why the cranberry isnt getting rid of the kidney infection?Advertisement

I am completely laid out with this infection at the moment. Maybe when I get on top of this kidney infection I might feel better and more able to get to see someone. This is a reply to # 1,258,855yes i dont live to far from london bout a hour half by car my heart goes out to you i couldnt get out of bed for 2 weeks when i had kidney infection is was so ill and my kidneys hurt so bad i think the endo i had contributed towards it as they found blood in my urine that went away when i started drinking lots of cranberry juice though

This is a reply to # 1,258,845From what I understand about cranberry juice and bladder infections is that the juice is good PREVENT infections, but once infection has set in, the acid and Sugar in the cranberry juice adds fuel to the fire/helps the bacteria grow. You may want to try some baking soda (1 tsp.) in 8 oz of water 2 or 3 times a day followed by lots and lots and lots and lots of water. Bacteria has trouble surviving an alkaline environment.- Re: Now What Do I Do? #91249

A recommendation from a ND I once saw about taking Antibiotics : If you end up having to take Antibiotics , take Sachromyces Boulardi at the same time. S. Boulardi, a transient, good yeast, will take up space in the intestines and compete with Candida during the time you are taking Antibiotics (you don't want to leave Candida unopposed). Also, do take probiotics while on antibiotics, just space them 2 hours away from when you take a dose of antibiotics. This is a reply to # 1,258,853Lady i forgot to say to you, go this route then vitamin c in a buffered form(chances are you will have low gastric acid so 3grams a day max) But if your kidneys are under-performing this may not be the best route. The vit c is doing bloody good for my adrenals try this i think you'll be happy. Has a direct effect on bacteria etc too.
As to natalia, i havent a clue what im talking about nor have i cured myself, im only repeating as to whats on here so please dont make me out like i know it all.
At the end of the day it doesnt really matter what parasite it is minus a few changes to anti-parasiticals. Some scam drops etc arent going to cut a deeply ingrained infection that can change their cell walls. You need strong chems and even then its questionable minus the marshall protocol if they work.
Lyme etc aswell, if you have the h.plyori infection like you say, apart from mastic gum etc your going to need to do anti-biotics several types to eradicate an already hard infection.- Re: Now What Do I Do? natalia88

i wont take antibitics i will take a strong natural treatment for it an dthe only reason i have it is because of parstites or candida but like i say i cant say for sure until i get my stool tests results emailed to me by a nutro doc- Re: Now What Do I Do? #91249

Whats stronger than what you've tried though natalia?
Unless we start isolating alkaloids and taking potent and toxic amounts of them, the only thing left is pharms IMO unless someone is willing to show me otherwise.

This is a reply to # 1,258,890Yes it has direct effect on all sorts of organisms but i think mostly bacteria.
My adrenals are getting better which is only right as all endocrine glands need vitamin C at tissue saturation levels to function optiminally. And when your under stress like we both are mentally and physically(infection) then it gets depleted fast. But theirs a twist you can also be deficient on the metabolite i.e sodium ascorbate im not sure how your kidneys would cope with excess sodium but more C is def needed.
Infact i wouldnt be surprised if it elminated alot of stuff mega-dosed like i did in the past or to get these adrenals and immune system working.- Expand 20 messages, 21 to 40 of 64 ladywear
