so much about herbal medicines, healing, etc., it was embarrassing that I hadn't found the answers to heal myself of Morgellons - till now! However - it wasn't until this last product, NCD, that the itching drastically disappeared, and true healing began. I'm enjoying life again!

Good point Lisa I had tried both non-iodized sea salt like they said on Lymephotos, and iodized. For some weird reason, the iodized seems to work better for me. I noticed that skin did better with a little Betaine(iodine solution). So this was why I tried the
Iodine again; also I think someone mentioned vinegar and
Iodine may be in Eco-Vie. Though it is said that
Iodine is a trace mineral that Lyme sufferers need, one has to be cognizant not to be having so much to alter thyroid function. Like Selenium- sure there is a point where many trace minerals could become detrimental.
Would suggest for mainstream that one stick to sea salt, agreed.
I am probably a little too high on the salt end too.
Thanks for the suggestion.
PS: on a sidebar note: Got my National Geographic mag in the mail today with a cover story on malaria. The reason I mention this is that there was a blurb about a whole African nation acquiring a stock of
Wormwood - thought to be as good as Quiacrine for that scourge with much less toxicity. Now I would not recommend anyone pickup
Wormwood for an extended period of time w/out the supervision of a physician or at least a nutritionist. However, if you are really sick, as I seem to be these days, you may want to discuss w/ healthcare provider. His assistant told me it works better than Mepron(Atovaquone). Don't know this to be true or not but for something OTC, I am quite pleased.
California biochemist Dr. Jacques de Langre has been studying the
health benefits of salt for over 30 years. He has a Ph.D. in
biochemistry from the University of Brussels. He wrote two books on
this topic, "Sea Salt's Hidden Powers" and "Sea Salt, the Vital
Spark for Life."
*What do you think of natural sea salt sold in the health food stores?
DE LANGRE: This can be just as bad for your health as regular salt.
Most sea salt often comes from the same refinery as commercial salt.
You can tell sea salt is refined because you can pick it up and it
does not have any sign of moisture at all. Refined salt is very dry
salt. This tells you the magnesium has been taken out, because
magnesium is a water-hugging molecule.
Don't mean to sound schitzo with all the treatments I have been posting. What has been working for me recently is as follows:
1 teaspoon of iodized salt with Reg Vitamin C 2000-3000 milligrams every 3-4 hours.
Citrus Bioflavanoid capsule containing Rutin and Hesperdin every 6-8 hours
Chlorophyll (w/copper) 50 mg several times a day
Artemisinin(wormwood) 200 mg 2-3 times a day
Right now core
Antibiotic is Rifampin 150 mg 2-3 times daily.
Why this may work right now:
I noticed no
Antibiotic per se was doing the job. Salt and Vit C per C was limited for me.
So my Lyme MD recommened
Wormwood . Now this is difficult to get in chain stores in capsule form. However Vitamin Shoppe sells a tincture I was trying that seems to help almost as well. It appears this is working much better than any other antiparasitics I have tried.
The salt seems to bind to the sludge beneath the skin and reduces viscosity. The high Vitamin C encourages urea production in perspiration which forces exodus of creaping crud.
Chlorophyll is known to help purify aflotoxins and other biotoxins.
While the bioflavinoids may not be necessary, these are known to help regulate collagen production &(augment Vit C's function of this); Also I am working under the present theory that there may be a polymerse xfer of a plant bacteria/virus to us. Phytonutrients(including Vit C, blue-green alage, chlorophyll, beta carotene, cayenne, tumeric), are thought to offer protection to plant plant life from auxins(related plant mutations). It is possible some of these mutations may be brought about on some level in humans by exposure to Seven, Thuricide, other pesticides, domaic acid, etc.
Don't think I have said anything new or outstanding here. However as we share facts and theories, we may synergistically help one another solve our plagues.
[YEA] 09/05/2007: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand writes: "Yes I have heard of the salt and vitamin C remedy, however, my own personal feedback from the salt and vitamin C remedy creates a lot of problems and symptoms from people who have used it.
The ones that I have most successes with the least problem from my end is the borax and baking soda remedy, plus plenty of magnesium. The worms or tiny insects (that is seen in the microscopes), sometimes with tiny furs, seems to be more peculiarly sensitive with borax than the salt. It alters their ability to reproduce and a die off is quick after only a week, about 90% reduction is seen, while the salt and vitamin C remedy took a lot longer, such as a couple of months."

[YEA] 08/26/2007: Molly from Kenai, Alaska writes: "Thank you so much for your initial email. I wanted to reply and share what I've learned. In my opinion, Morgellon's may likely be caught via a mite vector, but the disease itself is NOT from mites but from a more "worm-like" creature that seems to like living directly under the skin, hence the creepy-crawly feelings, etc. The creature also appears to lower the immune system, making the person vulnerable to a billion other infections/infestations/problems).
This worm/thing is EXTREMELY hardy and is not easy to get rid of, however, it is vulnerable to a few things, particularly the simple "condiment" we know of as SALT.
The following "remedies" are what I've been doing and seems to REALLY help. I thought I'd share in case it might help others. The first two are the most important.
1.) Salt and Vitamin C Protocol:
- 1 mg salt (1 salt tablet, "sodium chloride") per 10 lbs of body weight, not to exceed 18mgs per day), taken three times per day, along with 3,000 mg Vitamin C per day (taking 1,000 mg each time you take your salt tablets).
Both the salt tablets and the Vit C tablets are really inexpensive (you can get salt tablets at your local pharmacy---they are usually $5.00--$7.00 per bottle of 100.
For example, I weigh 120, so I am taking 12 salt tablets per day, though usually I add one or two extra pills in for good measure at night. Drink a full cup of water with your dose, as well as drink a LOT more water throughout the day. The full set of instructions can be found at lymephotos.com where I first read about this.
Whatever these things are, they *hate* salt!!!!
The salt creates quite a die off effect---the first couple weeks in particular will be rough. Most days I woke up feeling like I had the flu, though usually I was able to function okay. There were a few days that were more difficult than others (vomit, diarrhea). All in all, it's tolerable (hey, if they're dying, I'm happy--lol).
Though the die-off will continue, you should notice a very sharp decrease in symptoms after the first couple weeks. The salt protocol should be followed for as long as it takes---usually the length of time it's been since you were first infected, so that you can kill off all new hatchlings.
[Of course, people with high blood pressure will want to approach the salt therapy carefully---please do it only while monitering bp, or checking with your doctors, etc].
