My hair is growing faster, but not any thicker. I am still experiencing hair loss and weight gain that I believe is hormone related (estrogen dominance).
Are you on any kind of supplements? They might be responsible for hair loss.
I was once reading all about acid alkaline theory and how body must be alkaline. Following that principle, I started consuming baking soda+ACV or BS+lemon mixture. ( read it all on Earthclinic.com) As a bad side effect I noticed that my hair became dry and thin and bathroom floor was filled with all the hair I was shedding.
I immediately stopped BS, and now consume just lemon juice with water. The hair loss stopped. So sometimes it could be some wrong supplement which we might be consuming...For similar reasons, I stopped Iodine and am very careful about what I consume. I am on no supplements whatsoever and feel good.
Yoga has been very beneficial to me. I was carrying about 10 extra pounds around my abdomen and thighs. I took a yoga class, and noticed slim thighs, and flatter abdomen. But regularity is very important in doing all these inversions/Yoga exercises. So keep doing it and hang in there.
