Hi Jessie'smom,
Yeah, things have started to slow down at work so I'm back at the bug killing hard again. I can't believe I still have as many as I do, but they are persistant, nasty little buggers.
I really admire both shroom and Newport because they fearlessly try so much stuff. I learn a lot from both of them. Mostly about how to approach it, I don't have more than a year of colledge biology, I wish now I'd taken anatomy and physiology. I tried to fit it into my schedule over and over, and I just never could. I wish I'd found the time.
I am about to buy my own little microscope and start making slides, because I want to actually be sure I'm got them all dead, or at least as many as possible. I'm not going to pay some bored lab rat to check it out for me, it's cheaper to do it myself. I got the idea from shroom, God bless him! We are going to buy a piece of jewelry equipement that comes with a microscope, so if I save up the money for that soon enough, I'll get one that way. Otherwise, I'll get a cheap one from a vetninary supply store.
I'm doing ok, just tired today, really killed off a gob last week end, it was the full moon, I had to work really hard, we had really awfull nasty customers who were all trying to steal us blind, so I was on an adrenalin rush all week end. Must have helped, got a whole wad of round worms, dead ones, thank heavens!!!!
I think the herbal stuff works better long run, I'd rather have a liver left, thank you. Albendazole is supposed to be prescribed with cortical steroids just in case you have a siezure because a worm cyst died in your brain while you were taking it. No thanks to that stuff!!! So besides keeping my liver, I'd like to keep what's left of my few working brain cells. Not to mention staying alive.
I've got hubbie on the worm stuff too, but he won't drink water, he's trying to substitute coffee instead. There are worse things he could be drinking, I guess.
I'm on humamworm, humaworm cleanse, tumeric and bromelain, (great stuff for me, no joint pain to speak of) and I'm going to start on their tea as well. It seems to be getting round worms really well. I haven't seen a sign of a tape worm this time, which is kind of a good thing, as far as I'm concerned. I'm also getting rid of the eye floater I've had since I tryed the OTC pin worm stuff, and I'm getting a discharge from the eye that had the big floater. The floater is fading, it's totally cool.
I also got some bentonite, it was part of what killed off the tape worms I had, and I think it's effective. I've been taking that in addition to the humaworm. I got the idea from a friend who is a dog breeder, who said that they used to use Kaopectate to de-worm and it was really effective. They changed the formula about five years ago, what works well was the chalky stuff, because it cleaned the worm heads off the intestinal wall. Then I checked what I took which got the tape worms, and it was in that, but not in humaworm.
I'm also going to try activated charcoal, as well as castor oil. They are both very old worm remedies, and worth a shot.
I'm glad you've worked up the nerve to try the zapper, I've honestly been too chicken to try it. Does it hurt?
I also am scared to do a liver cleanse, I've gotten the stuff ready to do one about three times now, and I've always booked out on it. I think I really need to get rid of more round worms, I'm scared I'll get one plugged in a bile duct and explode or something. I may do one next week, I don't want to do one right now because I'm in the middle of a big die off, and I want to continue with what is working.
I know I'd be dead by now if I hadn't started the cleansing, so having a couple of days when I'm pretty tired from die off beats that. And I now have some days when I really feel pretty good.
It sounds like you are doing great, I'm glad you are feeling better. Good hearing from you,
Julie
