Hi!
I normally never write anything on forums, I was just looking for something, but after I saw your message, I just had to register to be able to reply...
The reason why I was so taken aback is that I think that your diet is not doing you any good AT ALL! Not just that, I think it makes you feel the way you described. I don't know about drinking urine, I don't have experience with that, just going to try. But I don't think that that is doing any harm to you.
But I'm sure about one thing. I'm a Chinese Medicine student, I don't treat people yet, but have done lot of observations of treatments. I definitely know that people eating too much raw food for longer period of time are slowly destroying all the organs belonging to digestive system - including stomach, pancreas and spleen - and this is what you are trying to heal! Before I had chance to observe this I thought that raw food is the best what I could eat too! But now I'm really sure is not. maybe for 1-2 weeks of detox (but only if your digestive system is HEALTHY) it's fine. But not long-term, and for sure not for people who try to make their digestion better! Too much raw food (and also fried food and diary, esp. cheese) can cause bloating, loss of apetite, tiredness, depressions, abdominal pain, diarhoea, bleeding oedemas, ...and lot of other things when combined with other imbalances of the person. I have seen a lot of patients like that, they got better after they changed their diet.
I'm really surprised that with Crohn you are able to eat raw food at all, its not easy to digest at all, people with Crohn I had seen - they just couldn't eat raw food, brown rice, wheat at all - anything what is just a bit more difficult to digest.
What your digestive system needs is some substantial, nourishing and WARM food! Really important that you have minimum of 1 WARM food a day. Just give it a try, you can eat healthy food and NOURISH yourself at the same time. Just to give you an idea of what the digestive system of most of people loves (from what I've seen) - breakfast - something like oats porridge (but not with milk - that's another killer of digestion) I cook them in water and add a some raisins or dried fruit, on the top cinamon. Cinamon is great - warming and soothing for your digestion. Lunch - something warm and COOKED, you can add SOME fresh veggies, but base have to be something cooked - rice, cooked vegies, fish, a little piece of organic meat is sometimes nice as well, soups are great - esp. miso, whatever nice and nourishing you can think of. Dinner - in ideal case cooked and substantial again.
Just give it a try for 1-2 weeks and see how you feel. You have nothing to loose if you feel so bad now, some nice cooked and nourishing food is not going to make you worse for sure. I know, you don't feel like eating much now, and gosh, I'm not surprised at all, after all this raw food your digestion must be in state of hybernation. But try it gradually, and I'm sure you will feel positive changes. And your apetite will come back as well.
I just found one link with info about nourishing spleen - in chinese medicine spleen represent the whole digestive system. From what you wrote it seems that this is your week point, on the link there are some really nice ways of nourishing your spleen.
