For over 10 years (I am 30), my left knee has swollen up every now and then (with no seeming pattern). I have HAD to have many injections and one major keyhole operation (the effects of this were susposed to last approx 7 years or life, but lasted about 5 months!)
Sometimes I have been untroubled for years at a time.
I have tried sooo many cures including practicall all alt therapies, some help a little, some dont.
Have also looked into all possible causes, including food intolerance (I still suspect this), overworking the joint and/or emotional cause.
I am currently, after a long clear period, suffering a nasty flare up. It has started about the same time as starting mms (please note that I really do think mms is helping me GENERALLY and am excited about it).
Do people think Miracle-Mineral-Supplement will help the knee, or could be causing the symtoms?
My arthiritis in this knee is classed as zero negative rheumatoid, which basically means they have no idea what is causing it.
Please help, the lack of movement (inhibiting my life) and stiffness is awful!

Would you mind me asking how long you've been taking Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and at what dosage?
"Arthritis" is my problem too, although like you, I've long suspected that it had more to do with some other problem. The pain just didn't seem to come from the joint as much as from the swelling and irritation around the joint, so my doctors promptly diagnosed it as osteo arthritis.
Since Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , my swelling has DRAMATICALLY declined, and I'm almost back to normal-sized hands. I can actually snap my fingers again in both hands, and have been doing finger, wrist and arm exercises, for the first time in years. (too painful previously)
If you're getting swelling from taking the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , I would view that as a hopeful sign that something is changing, and a war is being fought on your behalf. :)
If you can tolerate higher dosages, it might resolve faster.

This is a reply to # 1,095,419Knee problems are also mentioned on the Iodine forum and the left knee relates to the kidneys. Even on that forum there are a lot of questions, in my case the pain was often in the ankle, what happened to other people too.

I have been doing approx 9 drops once a day then 9 twice a day every other day (sorry for the tongue twister!).
Have been doing it for about 3 weeks now, maybe missing around 5 days out of those 3 weeks.

This is a reply to # 1,095,395I have three books on probiotics in the house and they all indicate benefits to rheumatoid arthitis.
This comes from "Cultivate Health from Within" (my favorite of the three):
" Rheumatoid Arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis have been found to be associated with overgrowth in the intestines of particular harmful bacteria, Proteus and Klebsiella, respectively. Both of these can be controlled by healthy bowel flora. The natural antibioticlike substances manufactured by Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, and the bifidobacteria kill both of these bacteria."
(To be fair, it also mentions improvements from the following dietary changes:
-low in fat, low in sugar, high in complex carbohydrates
-vegetarian diet)
I don't have RA, so I can't actually speak to results there. I have taken two probiotics brands. Nutrition Now did absolutely nothing. When I switched to iFlora (Sedona Labs), I could tell immediately that it was having dramatic results.
If you are inclined towards researching these things, you will find lactoferrin an interesting topic (it's related to lactic acid/lactic acid bacteria). It appears to be involved in histamine regulation, control of fluid levels/viscosity, creation of mucous, immunity/antibodies, motility, iron transfer, and is an antioxidant.

This is a reply to # 1,095,395MMS is an oxidizer. Joints are largely made of collagen which can be broken down by oxidation. So it is possible that if your joint problem is not caused by pathogens the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement could be having a negative effect.
To protect the joints take 2000 or more grams of MSM with vitamin C and or other anti oxidants Like OPC's.- Re: Knee inflammation #33578

I notice that my skin was getting a little older looking in the neck area while on Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . The skin also needs collagen.

OPC stands for Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins. Made from Pine Bark and Grape Seeds. It is probably the reason Red Wine can have positive effects.

This is a reply to # 1,096,196MSM is largely what Collagen and the rest of your body is made of. MSM, vitamin C and enzymes are the raw material to rebuild. Anti oxidants keep the damage from being done in the first place.

The Miracle Mineral Supplement of the 21st Century
Arthritis: There are some things that you should know about arthritis
if you have the problem. First, it doesn’t matter how bad it is, your

I have "normal" arthritis, and Miracle-Mineral-Supplement has helped me a great deal! I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis by a "traditional" MD...actually a specialist if I remember correctly, as I've had it for quite a while in a varying degrees of managability.
I've noticed an overall reduction in my retention of fluid, and although my hands were too swollen to close before Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , they've actually become useful tools again! I suppose that's why I'm always rah-rah-ing on here for Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . It's made a tremendous difference in my outlook for the future.
To the fellow who noticed "aging" of the skin on his neck. I wonder if it's not just a reduction in overall inflammation and swelling. A lot of us seem to have body burdens of pathogens that are killed by MMS.
My knees were BOTH giving me problems before MMS and knee/leg problems can really be a double whammy because in order to do cardiovascular exercising, it's pretty tough to just use your arms! Oh I know, anything is possible, but quality of life is so much better with normal mobility! We built a large swimming pool just so I could use my whole body to exercise. (plus the cool water soothes joint pain) I can hardly wait until warmer months so that I can use it without pain for once.
Another thing I noticed. I had a torn-rotator cuff on my right shoulder that has given me problems for years. I suddenly noticed the other day, that the ligaments weren't "tweaking" me everytime I did overhead work with my right arm anymore. How the heck did MMS affect a connective tissue injury? I haven't got a clue, but I sure am grateful!

SO sorry to hear about your knee. The reason your knee starting giving you trouble again when you took the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is because the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is attacking the fungus in your knee. It is a die-off effect known as Hexheimer reaction. Whatever ailments that you have in your body, when you take something that attacks it to get rid of the bad symptoms, it will always get WORSE before it gets better. So if I were you, I would stick with the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . ALso try going for two days eating nothing but green stuff like Spinich and Green beans and something like Lima Beans. They're all green foods and see how your knee reacts. This is a reply to # 1,095,395Hi, I blew off my knees due to a horse accident, I tried all conventional physiotherapy for over 6 months!!! didn´t find relief..my problems was supposed to be with tendons and ligaments and the meniscuos on the ritht knee...one doctor said it would resolve by itself over some time ( 3 years went by and nothing!!)other doctor suggested arthroscopic surgery..I did my survey asking other people with ligament problems that had surgery if they were better...and not!!!
So I found prolotherapy over the net..and I could find a doctor who treated me (I live in Monterrey, Mexico)...I just went to 3 sessions...and it worked for me!!! yes water with glucose..and I only spent around 50 dlls per knee per session...$300 dlls...and I feal great!
I used to have pain ALWAYS..but more when weather was cold, humid or when it was about to change..like people with arthritis..(before I used chondroitin, glucosamine and msm...like more than a year..form the very generic brand to one more professional..but no relieve!!!
Read books like Save your knees and Egosquoe (sorry for spelling)...did the excercise...no relieve!!!
So give it a try!! it may help you..it hurts for the first 3 to 4 days though...but NO PAIN NO GAIN...!!!
