Ok, let me disagree a bit with the opinion that a
Water Fast is the best option for u. There is even a post in
recommended messages (somewhere) that a
Water Fast is not the best way to loose ur weight. I could offer two options to u (YOU choose):
1) just eating healthy. Include plenty of fruits and vegies in ur diet (style of life). Ideally u could eat right combos of food (google 'right combining' and see). I was on that eating plan for couple of months some time back and it was just GREAT (long story to tell why I stoped.. but u could go to my posts and look for the one called ' for Sanctuary' or one of the posts nearby it). And, of course, go to the gym plus run if u wanna. If u want to fast then go for 1-2 days fasts ones a week. In this case u will loose weight not quickly but SURELY. This weight loss will be stable.
2) Go for a juice fast. In this case u will be fasting and at the same time u will have enough energy to work and enjoy life. Plus it wont be a shock for ur body. U can also exercise under this plan. Ideally u need to eat a lot of fruits and vegies at least for 3-5 days. Make sure u get rid of a pulp from juices. If u dont then u will be hungry throughout ur fast. Drink juices as much as u want to. the recommended amount is 3-5 cups per day. Make sure u drink FRESHLY SQUEEZED juices within 10 min after
juicing (when u can). As for the rest of day - use jars with a tight lid to keep them fresh and alive. Make sure u won't pig out after ur fast is over. If u are not sure about it and/ or u have a tendency to overeat then, may be, start from short juice fasts.. end then properly and if u were successful then after rereading stage u could go for a longer ones. And PLEASE don't make ur life an entire fast. Do not stress ur body.
