Well, the roads in the cities sure are dangerous!Some hostile activity towards tourists in Mauritania is too close for comfort. We are(American)Christians, so we have to watch out for hostile entities, which are far and few in that part of Africa, but they do exsist! Everyone hates America these days...I have been in some hairy situations. I have treated the diplomats of the country as well, and it is very hard not to say what you really want to say. I must always have composure, respect and supernatural protection!
I like going into the bush-not as many EMF's so what a difference! The people are wonderful, I love them dearly.My heart breaks for them,thier plight. I feel like I'm putting a thimbleful of water on a raging fire. Each year the children die. It is a devasting that I will go into a village and learn that many of the children I tried to help last year will be dead.
